The Terrace Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Avoid this place at all costs. Food is Overpriced (I don't mean expensive) to the sky. We ordered cold coffee, virjin mojito, garden pizza, white sauce pasta, crispy potato with salsa, some chaap and lastly, chai.

Everything except for pasta and chai was third class both in terms of taste and quality. Let me give you an overview of the atrocities, that they call food, we had to endure for a total of 1900 rupees.

Cold coffee was the worst i have had in a long time. Maybe they should use better milk and switch to some other brand like continental. Mojito was nothing but sprite topped, not blended, with mint leaves. Thus there was no taste of mint. Pasta was okay-ish, albeit a bit sweet with very less toppings served with two pieces of plain bread that is generally supposed to be garlic bread. Chaap was the worst thing they served us, it was so much filled with salt i couldn't finish a single bite. Thus, i cant comment further about its taste profile. The pizza base was very hard, so I almost asked for aari (saw) to cut it. Pizza had an unacceptable low amount of toppings. One slice had just a jalapeno and a mushroom. Crispy potato with salsa is just a fancy name for french fries with low quality tasteless salsa dip. It would have been fine if the fries weren't so soggy. We also had chai which was good compared to the rest of the atrocities they served us.

Also, as if serving bad food isn't fun enough for them, they also don't believe in treating you as a paying client. We were 4 people sitting in a 6 seater table. Just in front of us were 2 people sitting in 6 seater table. To accommodate a new client group, they asked us to move to a cramped space either near the washroom or near the billing counter. Later, upon complaining that they could've also asked the other table to move, they replied with "To aap mana kar dete ki hum nahi uthenge". Are you kidding me? We were baffled, almost enraged, by this type of attitude by the staff but unfortunately we had already ordered the food.

Bottom line is, the food is of the quality of those restaurants where there's only four tables and you pay 120-150 for a pizza. Even those types of restaurants have better taste in my general experience than The Terrace "Cafe". They are charging you based on the ambience and not the food. Hopefully you won't have to learn this the hard way...

Beauty at its best. If you are looking for a fantastic and beautiful Roof top location with flavorful food, "The Terrace Cafe" should be the first preference.

While searching for good food and location in Haridwar, I found this place which is just 3 km from Railway st. & Bus st. Haridwar. I went there with my family.

Good Lightning with garden decoration is delightful treat to your eyes. Sitting options is mostly suitable for family or group of friends.

All items are flavorful and delish to eat.

Sitting options and staff

It's located on 4th floor with indoor and outdoor sitting options and there is one extra deck can be called as 5 th floor within the restaurant.

We opt for deck option which has two big table options, one table is a comfortable sitting option for 6 person at a time and 3 Couple sitting. But deck is a congested space.

Staff behaviour is unprofessional and unmanageable. Needs Improvement

Worst cafe ever I Hv visited. Only good thing abt this place is it's open area, but they have very bad service and always lack of staff. It happened twice with me, they can call it close any time even if it is only 8pm, and they even don't bother to change their closed/open board. People go there and settle down, then those idiots will come to you and ask that they don't hv staff or its closed. Even after this if someone you convince them to serve a coffee atleast, they will serve you a cold cappuccino for your hot coffee order. I asked them that this isnt good for their reputation and I will post a true review for your service...
