My recent experience with Yo Tibet Restaurant was nothing short of regrettable. I had sent my office assistant to pick up an order from their establishment, and what followed was a series of disappointments.
Firstly, the order was completely wrong. It's disheartening when a restaurant fails to get the basics right, and this was no exception. The incorrect dish, unfortunately, set the tone for the entire experience.
When I called the restaurant to address the issue, I expected a professional and courteous response. However, what I encountered was far from that. The person on the other end of the line exhibited impatience and a complete lack of willingness to resolve the situation. In any service industry, effective communication and problem-solving should be non-negotiable.
I firmly believe that constructive feedback can help businesses improve. In this case, it's evident that Yo Tibet Restaurant needs to enhance their order accuracy and customer service. These fundamental aspects play a crucial role in retaining customers and building a positive reputation.

Read moreLet me start with the pros: ambience 10/10. The place is a hideout in a busy area such as Rajendra Nagar.
Cons: I speak from my experience here, so please take it with a grain of salt. We had ordered a plate of laphing, bubble tea and Yo Tibet special noodles with come with black mushrooms along with other vegetables, served with a dip. I was very excited to try the food here especially after going through numerous convincing reviews, but we were let down. The laphing was just below satisfactory as it tasted a little dry and not-so fresh. Since it was out first time having bubble tea, I cannot make comments on it. The special noodles did not seem to have any special quality to them, that is, they tasted very ordinary. The vegetables were chopped in a haphazard manner and the entire dish had next to no flavour. When we hesitantly inquired the owner regarding this issue, she did NOT seem very helpful. The customer service is below average but what seemed very rude was that the bill wasn't brought to out table. Instead, we were asked by the manager/owner to come to her table to get it.
P.S.- we couldn't click pictures of the special noodles since, by them, a major chunk of our 'excitement'...
Read moreI think I was fooled by the photos I saw here. I went there after reading the reviews and seeing the photos but what I found was completely different. The food is not prepared well and the presentation was downright bad. I don't know if we were the only ones with whom this happened coz the other tibbet people who were also there were given food in a presentable manner and the utensils were also different then us........ There were no chopsticks for us, The serving lady just assumed that we didn't knew how to use it. The other people got the glass utensils for their soft drinks but we got ours in a plastic cup in which they serve water. They didn't serve us chutneys with Shabhalay but others the other group had it on their table it. We were just astonished by the ignorant behaviour they showed us. It was very disappointing and embarrassing for us so we paid and left without saying anything. Also the taste was not good at all, I have eaten better tibbetan food at cheaper rates so I don't recommend you visit there specially if you are non-tibbetan.
I have nothing against them but my experience was bad and it just sad that this happened in Dehradun. You can see the...
