Brosten's Kitchen & Cafe, located near Vasai Fort, is an absolute gem for anyone craving truly authentic and heartwarming food. Stepping away from generic fast food, this cafe delivers on its promise of genuine flavors, and the care they put into their cooking is evident in every bite. We started with a fantastic deep-fried starter—perfectly crisp on the outside, succulent inside, and beautifully seasoned. Served alongside a vibrant green chutney and fresh lime, this dish immediately set the tone for a high-quality, flavorful meal. For the main course, the rich, comforting curry (paired perfectly with soft, fresh rotis) was the star. The gravy was thick, deeply flavored, and tasted like a genuine regional specialty, not something rushed or watered down. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and traditional preparation methods. Beyond the food, the cafe has a touching story, dedicating its space as a tribute to Lt. Brother Sanket Tendulkar—a wonderful touch that gives the place a real soul. Their commitment to not using artificial food colors is also a huge plus, emphasizing a focus on health and quality. Whether you're looking for a quick, delicious bite (they offer great fries and chicken options too!) or a fulfilling, authentic Indian meal, Brosten's Kitchen & Cafe is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended! Location: Opposite Vasai Police Station, Killa...
Read moreAfter a gap of nearly two years, I had the pleasure of revisiting Brosten Cafe Vasai restaurant—and what a rewarding return it was. Nestled in the heart of your town, your kitchen continues to serve food that feels both comforting and extraordinary. This time, I indulged in their freshly cooked puranpoli, kothimbir vadi, and mutton—and each dish was a testament to their commitment to authenticity and flavour. The puranpoli was perfectly soft and aromatic & freshly cooked, the kothimbir vadi crisp and bursting with coriander, and the mutton—rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. It’s rare to find a place where tradition and taste are so beautifully preserved. Thank you for the warm hospitality and the unforgettable meal. I look forward to returning again in my next visit to India and sharing this gem with others who appreciate true culinary craftsmanship. Great place for family, best in service, and the ambience was super cool.I will give a 5/5 rating...
Read moreWhen arrived it at the restaurant, we found parking on the roadside, then entered the restaurant.
All tables were full, luckily I got a small table in the corner. The order was taken a little late as there was only one individual who was taking the order and serving as well.
This cafe also serves western cuisine as well. However I came here for the seafood thali. That being said, the wait time was for 25 mins but it was worth it because the food was simple & authentic to vasai.
The price per thali was around ₹600 for seafood. It is not the cheapest but it is among the best cafes which packs authenticity with flavour.
However request the management to look in to service or adding manpower.
Definitely recommended if you going to visit...
