Prasad Food Divine — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

Took my wife and my mom on my wife’s birthday as it is guru pornima we wanted to eat a pure veg and we decided to go Prasad food divine restaurant over madhuram and other famous joints in Virar although it’s fairly new we are attracted by its appearance from the outside when ever we pass by it few times , and we are correct! Despite we went there on Sunday afternoon in pouring rain we have no trouble getting our car parked in front of restaurant as there is a valet service waiting for us which is highly unusual in Virar as we parked we are greeted by the gateman holding an umbrella for my 65 year old mom which impressed me as he show us the way to our table which is not pre-booked I must mentioned , we then seated and greeted by captain with a menu card and lap cloths and he guided us in a menu and recommend their speciality which we don’t find anywhere in Virar at least all the starters and main course have selective but good variety which we further loved the taste of even the continental is as authentic as it can be , veg biryani is also great loved by my son who is unlikely eat overpower spices in other restaurants , and the best of them yet to come , cheesecake and .gulab jamun also some mocktails like chilly guava are some different but refreshing treat , price is fairly reasonable and worth the taste and ambience for your special occasions ! The place have it’s charm much better in the evenings than day though a perfect photogenic lighting and textures ! Adding to the experience as we leaving we met the co owner Mr Kunal chorghe , a very pleasing personality with a charming smilie , nice to meet him as he discussed some further amazing add up to the restaurant in the near future and open the door as we leave , I must say no need to go to Mumbai to get this experience for fine...

Giving 1 star because cant give them less than that here. We went to this restaurant for a dinner on Monday 4-Nov-24, It was a weekday so we were not expecting much crowd. We reached the restaurant around 9.10 pm. We waited for about 10 min for getting a table, the wait was fine and was not an issue. After getting the table, it took the waiter about 15 min to come and take our order. We were not served even water during these 15 min. Waiter did not even care to respond to our request to get the Menu Card. We ordered only 1 starter Harabhara Kababa to start with and one stuffed paratha for our son. It was about 9:30 by this time. Me and my wife were having a conversation while waiting for our food. By 9.50 we didn't get our food. We called the waiter and he said that our order will be served shortly. Almost 4-5 different waiters were called but none of them responded with any answer. Such a disrespectful treatment. And we observed this was happening at every table. Table next to us were complaining the same.

After waiting for another 15 min, we got 1 paratha. This was after half an hour of placing the complete order, we received 1 basic thing. We were really frustrated now , we asked the waiter to cancel our rest of order and just bring the bill for one cocktail. We tried to speak to Managers about this issue but they seemed so careless and utterly unresponsive to even listen to it. They kept running away. And while we were at the counter to speak about it there were two other people came up with same issue. We paid the bill and left the hotel to another one, We somehow reached there in nick of the time, since it was already late. We will never recommend this place to...
