Art Cafe — Restaurant in West Bengal

Visited this cafe after searching it on trip advisor. Kalimpong is suppose to be a no fan station,but the day I visited here it was absolutely humid. Luckily this cafe has some fans kept for people to sit and enjoy their time . This cafe has an amazing ambience, nothing extra ordinary they have done in it but still the plants which are kept all around in the cafe gives it a pleasant look. The view from this place is absolutely marvellous. They have a indoor and outdoor seating an i am sure people who come here want to be seated outside rather indoors. The cafe is all the time full with people coming and going . We were here 4 days and we visited this cafe on all 4 days . Coming to their fud and pastries they have few dishes on their menu and all of them are nicely made an are tasty. Marble cake : yummy and v tasty Velvet cake : Very fresh, great in taste due to the cream what they use its quite buttery an gives a different flavour to the cake all together . Chocolate Mocha: This is chocolaty with same butter cream n gives a bit bitter taste towards the end. Must try The best of all cakes was the chocolate with roasted almond: Very tasty with pieces of roasted almond. It wasn't that creamy and buttery like other cakes. Their Chicken burger is awesome in taste and is filled with loads of vegetables like cucumber,tomatoes and some cheese along with a chicken patty and fried egg . Their Chicken sandwich is awesome too . Try their Schezwan Chicken rice along with their Heaven drum chicken .. This dish is basically a lollipop an is tossed in some sauce but the sauce is yummy and awesome . Though it has loads of colour but the taste is absolutely amazing . Do try their shakes they are nothing less . Banana peanut butter shake : Good in taste can be drank in morning time as a breakfast as it's quiet a heavy think to drink after any food . A Wonderful Stay with a Homely Atmosphere and Stunning Views

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Peaks Hotel in Kalimpong, West Bengal, and I must say, it was a truly excellent experience for my family. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways, and I'm more than happy to leave a glowing review.

First and foremost, the owner Mr. Sunil & Family made us feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their warm and welcoming nature created a comfortable and friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. It was refreshing to be greeted with genuine smiles and receive such personalized service. I truly felt like a valued guest, and that made all the difference.

The hotel itself is well-maintained and boasts a charming ambiance. The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. I found everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from cozy beds to modern amenities. The attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings was evident and added an extra touch of luxury to my experience.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga that the hotel offers on clear days. Waking up to such a magnificent sight was a real treat. The hotel's location provides a perfect vantage point to admire the majestic beauty of the mountains, and it's an experience I'll cherish for a long time.

In terms of amenities, the hotel had everything we could ask for. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options to cater to different tastes. The quality of the food at their restaurant was great, and the attentive staff made dining a delightful experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Golden Peaks Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Kalimpong. The combination of excellent service, a homely atmosphere, and stunning views of Mt. This is a very good hotel in Kalimpong located opposite to Dream Theatre Cineplex and at a walking distance from the main market area.| |The hotel is only 2-1/2 years old and very well maintained. It is owned and run very efficiently by Mr. Sunil Gugliani and his family.||We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights from 18.4.25 to 21.4.25. We had booked our room in advance by payment of 1 day’s rent through GPay and had received an instant confirmation from Sunil Ji.| |Our room no. 204 on the 2nd floor had a nice balcony facing the road. On clear days, snow peaks can be viewed from here; however, we were not lucky to have this experience due to the presence of clouds always blocking our visibility.| |The room was spacious enough to accommodate an extra cot which we had taken for our family of 3 adults. All necessary facilities were available in the room, which made our stay comfortable.||The hotel has an in-house restaurant named Golden Platter. Food here is very tasty. Mrs. Neelam Gugliani personally supervises the service and she was very kind to get our food cooked the way we had wanted.||Sunil Ji arranged necessary cab services for us – for sightseeing in Kalimpong and nearby areas and also for our return from Kalimpong to Bagdogra. He also made sure that we had booked a cab beforehand for travelling from Bagdogra to Kalimpong.||The hotel does not have an elevator as yet, though I noticed a lift well in the building which implies that they have the possibility of installing one whenever they want. Sunil Ji had informed us about this during booking itself and we did not find any difficulty to climb upto the 2nd floor. The nice hotel boys had carried our luggage during arrival and departure. However, aged people may consider this while selecting their floor of stay.||Overall, we are very thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Gugliani for their hospitality and care and for giving us an enjoyable stay at Golden Peaks.
