MOB (Ministry Of Booze) - Best Pub In Newtown — Restaurant in West Bengal

Ministry Of Booze, a place where you can have a good time with your friends or having a dance with your loved one to a beautiful song while having some good food and liquor. Near Unitech Gate 2 Rajarhat, this place is a hidden gem. Three big reason to visit this gastropub are,

From a beautiful and well-equipped home bar and well-furnished sitting area to the dim lights and the catchphrases in the walls, makes this place more charming.

Now at the time of our visit, the dishes which we tried in Appetizer section are,

• Chilli Mushroom • Chicken Tikka Kebab • Mandarin Fish • Murgh Angara Kebab • Tanger Style Dry Chilli Chicken

Among these, my favourite was those Murgh Angara Kebabs, chicken pieces which are skewered & cooked over burning charcoal or Angar and were juicy and flavourful.

For Main Course Section we had,

• Garlic Naan • Chicken Tandoori Butter Masala • Chilli Garlic Noodles • Chilli Prawn

I personally enjoyed all of these dishes and each of them were delish. My recommendation will be the Chicken Tandoori Butter Masala with Garlic Naan as a perfect accompaniment.

In MOB today I had most extreme experience. First of the quality of food is of average. Initially, we ordered a chicken item along with other items and drinks but that chicken item ( can't exactly remember the name) and it was smelling abnormal. We reported the same to boy attending our table. He took our concern to a supervisor and he asked for an alternate dish. Here one observation is, generally it takes time to prepare a food item after placing the order but here they served initial items within fa veryew minutes say 5 mint or so. So after having the smell in the chicken item I started doubting whether they keep the ingredients or the menu as readymade. However, I requested the waiter boy for non spicy food at the time of ordering but everytime they served spicy item full of red chilli powder( I guess so). Lastly, the bar has a DJ which played song so loud that it pains the ears and it hurts our chest pain. Requested the staffs to get the volume low and suddenly one person came and told us the volume can not be lowered down as after 9 pm the volume gets more louder. He told this such an way that it was quite humiliating. Later I came to know, he was the manager of the bar and he himself was drinking and enjoying some boys and girls dancing on the floor. Meant to be a place for chugging down your favourite spirits with lip-smacking food, it is one of its kind place in that area. The décor is minimalistic with some typical industrial touch of the open ceiling and exposed vents but with a class. The place is huge can accommodate 30+ people, the seating arrangements are superbly comfortable which makes up with the superbly done food. A multicuisine menu showcasing some brilliant chinese, kebabs, finger foods and more.'Murg Angara Kebab' is meant for the strong hearted and is bang on with fiery flavours. Equally good is the Chinese menu with Mandarine fish, chilly prawn where the spicyness of the prawns come through even with the gravy . The alcohol menu is also great to try it out and perhaps would be a greater option. I would definitely recommend everyone to try out their fire shots . Food I tried out
