šŸ“ Final Thoughts

New Punjab Khalsa Hotel offers a solid quick-serve experience, especially for fans of hearty Punjabi-style dishes. The Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Biryani, and Rolls stand out, offering rich flavour at a bargain. However, be prepared for occasional service hiccups—cold food or wrong/missing items in orders have popped up in reviews. For dine-in, while the ambiance is simple and welcoming, patience may be needed during busy hours.

It is a very old restaurant at Bally, if I recall previous food quality and behaviour was very good, I have enjoyed it a lot when I was at college, but now the food quality is just okay, taste is not good, I ordered Chicken biriyani and Hakka noodles with egg and chicken.

If I reviewed the taste of Chicken biriyani, it was not biriyani, no taste, no flavour , just they cooked and served. I never prefer to buy Biriyani from them.

If I reviewed Hakka noodles, it's not hakka noodles, too much oil they used and no taste of Chicken as well as noodles taste whatever they used to do.

After I ordered, my observation is their team is unable to handle the rush during puja time, no queue maintained by customers and waiting time around 35 minutes to receive my 2 dish hakka noodles and one chicken biriyani.

But later I will try their chicken dish with moglai Paratha, it was my best dish, Punjab Khalsa was best that periods, I enjoyed it with my friends and family and the year...

Upadate: They have worked on the ambiance and hygiene. The overall makeover is really good. I generally eat roti and chichen kasha from here. The quantity and quality are good.

Mixed feelings. I've visited this Dhaba twice. On my first visit I tried chicken biryani. And I loved it. Quality and quantity both were good. Also I have had their chicken chap. It was bit too oily to my liking. Still the taste was good. Later few days ago I tried their tandoori roti and chilli chicken. The roti was perfect. But I didn't like the chilli chicken. Actually the preparation of the said chilli chicken is quite different from what I know. It was more like chichen bharta! Taste was about ok. Also the ambiance is average. They have tied up with zomato and swiggy for home delivery. I wish they have invested more on the infrastructure and ambiance also. Bally Ghat area lacks good restaurants. That is why this Dhaba is...

This is a Punjabi restaurant, situated right at the junction of Uttarpara & Bally. It's a newly renovated restaurant, so the ambience is really vibrant & fresh. However, the food quality was absolutely average (similar to footpath food stalls) & didn't justify the price at all. I tried out a plate of Chicken Bharta, alongside romali rotis. The Bharta tasted satisfactory, but nothing amazing. It even had hairs in it, and no egg was provided on top, which is not acceptable. The roti tasted normal and was prepared entirely out of maida, which makes it outright unhealthy. They accept Paytm/UPI. Recommended to visit, only when you don't have any better choice left. šŸ‘šŸ»

A small yet a good place with busy takeaways and sittings for non-veg punjabi food, as the name the taste of the food is good as per the price in the menu. The place is always well occupied with people as there’s rush all the time. Only down size is, it’s a roadside Hotel with no proper parking space which lacks customers for go-to-eat people it’s on GT Road just on the way of entering Uttarpara probesh dwar. The space is small and the service is a bit slow. We ordered : Tangri kebab(2 Pieces) : Rs. 170/- Mutton Chnaap (4 Pieces) : Rs. 430/- Tandoori Roti (4 Pieces ) : Rs. 48/- Cold drinks (2) : Rs. 40/- Total Bill as on 15/08/24 : Rs.688/-

I have ordered Egg chicken noodles there, they served it after that i saw mushroom pcs then I asked to the manager he said that they are always use mushroom in egg chicken noodles. I told him that mushroom is a Allergic thing so if you are using it in any dish you should mention in menu card. Then he said very rudely that we are also use carrots, capsicum, oil, salt and all other veggies that too we should mention? We are didn't take the food that time and he said you have to pay for it. I will never suggest anyone to go there only because of there behavior.
