The Taste — Restaurant in West Bengal

First of all, I wouldn't like to say this is an honest review about the restaurant. I have dined here many times. And personally I am going to round of all my experience and give you a well rounded thought about this restaurant. Good things about the restaurant: Food:The taste and quality of the food was really amazing. I personally enjoyed the food very much everytime I went to the restaurant. Plates and dishes:The plates and dishes were well cleaned. We were supplied with everything starting from water to sauce and mustard. They didn't take any charge of the water even though many of my close friends told me that they took seperate charges of the water. So, I really don't know if they take any charges of the water but personally they didn't take the charge of the bottles from me maybe they just forgot to add the charges if the bottle. Interior of the restaurant:The restaurant was well designed with various art works. They also had Ac and fans. They also had a smart TV which you can use and try out yourself. Bad things about the restaurant: Timing:Their timing of serving with the dishes is extremely bad. I had to sit there for nearly 3 hours waiting for my food while some customers were getting served in just ten minutes. Many customers were leaving the restaurant because of the amount of time they were taking to serve the food. Bad staff behavior:The behavior of the staff was very bad. They were speaking rudely and when asked about when they will serve me with the food they told me to leave the restaurant rudely. So, I would say the staff isn't really good and that they should hire some other staff. Personal suggestion:I would personally suggest that if you have enough to time to eat then only you should go to the restaurant otherwise there are many better restaurant oi there which you can try and save a lot of time and get a...

One of the newly opened restaurants which is situated exactly adjacent to the Bally ghat auto stand by the GT road at a very busy area. The well lit and well designed logo of the restaurant is very much noticeable from the Bally bridge as well who are traveling over the same. They offer a wide variety of Bengali, Moglai and Chinese foods. We ordered chicken steam momo, mixed fried rice and chicken reshmi kebab. The taste wise those were not fully satisfactory as I came to know later on that they are not known for Chinese items. The fried rice was extremely dry and the kabab was not at all soft. The service is very late and one should have enough time while having food in this restaurant. Price wise items are ok. The staff members are not cordial and and not good listeners as one may have to repeat a request a no of times to be fulfilled, however, there was a senior person who was monitoring all the orders who was really soft to customers. However, this place is very popular among the local persons and among the family groups. The inside ambience is neat and clean and the washroom facility is also good. I don't even feel like giving 1 star to this restaurant. I went to dine there for the first time with my family, the experience was really worst, I guess a roadside Dhaba is better than this showoff restaurant. Decoration and ambiance of a place is not important, the importance is the experience you get from it. We ordered 4 Thalis and before ordering we confirmed from them whether it is available or not, one of the staff said it's available and later the other one said if you will order Thalis then it will take 30 minutes, we said it's absolutely fine we can wait for 30 min. Later another staff came and said that the thali will take longer, order something else and the things which we really wanted to have were not avilable. We said we want to order Dosa one of the staff said that Dosa is available only during evening and later another one said that it is available but will take time. On top of that he made us feel so offended by saying that if we order thali then we need to pay 20% extra for each + GST He just wanted us to feel guilty for ordering those thali and their attitude was very different and it really forced us to leave the place without dining.

Will never visit that please again and if anyone really wants to experience such a pathetic service then my recommendation is to...
