Cramped space - the space is small compared to the people they are trying to fit in. If you are paying a good price for your meal, youd probably want a descent environment/space. Solution: i. have a reservation system in place to avoid overcrowding inside - give them the next available time and take down their ph numbers, you call when available. ii. reduce wait time, waiting 30-40 mins for a meal when you have limited seating is missed opportunity for the business.
Totally Unhygienic especially if you are sitting on the floor - you will feel like eating on the floor of a busy street with people walking right past by your food. You would probably smell the shoes and their feet! There is also a weird smell in the air. I wonder how unhygienic the kitchen must be. Solution: i. remove the ‘sit on the floor’ tables and and keep regular tables instead, the traditional Nepali ‘sit on floor tables’ would have worked if you had a much bigger space. ii. Consult a interior designer to understand how you can maximise the space inside by probably changing the furniture.
Food is not worth the price. Chicken curry in Chicken Thali tastes like ‘chicken boiled in hot water with a some added masalas’ - definitely not worth 350 Rs. Solution: i. change the chef, find an experienced one ii. or train the chef to cook quality meal (also i think thakali chicken has a particular masala added to it that enhances the flavours which was missing, you guys are the expert here and should know better than me)
Owners - this is a constructive feedback, hoping to see changes implemented at...
Read moreI had a very dismal and disappointing experience here.A group of four we ordered our food and had to wait for a long time for the food to arrive. But even despite the wait the last nail in the coffin was when one of the staff ,a man in blackglasses and red shirt who was attending at the counter, spoke very rudely with my sister. He hurriedly placed the chicken thali in front of my sister and when she said that two more thalis were yet to be served. He spoke so rudely about serving according to index, when in fact the two thalis meant for our table were given to two other guests who had arrived much later than us.And when my sister pointed out that to him he told her in very rude manner that the thali which he had given her was actually the thali of the other guest in the table next to ours.He said it in such a way as if we were dining there for free. The food tasted like sawdust. I would not definitely recommend this place ever to anyone it's very poorly managed and a nightmare for guests as the food orders get horribly bungled up And to add ghee to the fire is the horrible behaviour of mr.red shirt and black glasses.I sincerely hope the owners look into...
Read moreUnfortunately for us, we encountered something really terrible during our main course. The "Dhido", which is supposed to be one of their signature dishes had worms - too many to count - inside it. When you run an establishment that literally charges people to bring food to the table, the primary area of concern should be the taste and quality control of the food. We were utterly gutted and very disappointed with what we were served, especially after paying what we paid for it.
The service was good and all, on par with what one would expect with a restaurant of this standard. The snacks were delicious and well prepared, but the whole experience was scarred with that one...
