Very unprofessional staff and arrogant to the core because they lack schooling. Went into their restaurant last night with wife, thought we will have some food and get some take away for the children. The man sitting at cash counter stated rudely, "this is not a parcel counter..for parcel you need to go outside...this is a restaurant". What about the families who want to eat in the restaurant and take away food for their children home??? The man at counter had some blood pressure problem, he went roaring and shouting. I was surprised over his act and wasn't able to understand that why he went BALLISTIC 🔥??? I asked my wife to leave immediately. Haven't seen a restaurant with this much head weight of staff !! Question - Why the staff will roar and shout at the customer when the customer stands calm ??? Why can't they simply serve food and charge the customer with a cheque????? Answer - Because it's not an eatery but a street food seller. Beware before getting in there, specially when you have your family with you. They are shepherd into food business, claiming to be professional yet bitter in their speech. Have you ever heard about an eatery that tells you to dine in the restaurant and go out to parcel counter for takeaways?? Thus don't harm your self respect, avoid your family visits. There is Aminia Thakurpukur and Aminia Behala, go there please if you are with your family. Maintain your class as CUSTOMER...

Now with competition around, they are still a crowd puller but quality is a bit compromised with thick vanaspati oil being used instead of light oil. Food however moves fast and items are freshly prepared.
Have to edit my previous review.
Post- pandemic their quality has significantly improved. Biryani is light, moist and tastier than before. That vanaspati oil feel is not there. Meat quality is great.
To keep their quality high they do not endorse Zomato/Swiggy. They deliver locally.
Rolls and rotis are great too. Kebabs...
Read moreIt is a pleasant surprise that a nice restaurant exists in a far flung but burgeoning locality of 3A bus stand which till a few years back was devoid of any worth going eatery. Residents had trudge at least till Behala Chowrasta for a good restaurant. Now with Raj Darbar the place has arrived. Superb delicious Biriyani and chicken dishes are popular but there are some vegetarian items also in the menu. Service is a little problem and I am little skeptical on its hygiene but I think that things are bound to improve sooner than we can imagine. Price is moderate. Give it a try if you are on your home after a trip to Diamond...
