I recently visited The Kalimpong Local, Bistro and enjoyed their cappuccino and drums of heaven. While the cappuccino was average, the drums of heaven were tasty (but could be better), although they took longer than expected to prepare. The waiter was exceptionally friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, The Kalimpong Local, Bistro is a charming spot, but could improve on the speed of food preparation for a better dining experience. The town lacked a cozy bar food space and this where The Kalimpong Lical Bistro slides in. A must visit place if you want a warm, cozy space with indoor fire space. Their food menu is specially curated to match the bar items and I must say they taste well. My friends and I had our Book Club meet here and all of us had a memorable experience worthy of discussing THE Daphne du Maurier’s book. The food was prepared with love and it came across in the taste. We sipped our mocktails & cocktails to the last drop. We specially loved the dessert.
