Food Review —— I am updating this review after 5 years. I got indigestion and vomit in the morning after drinking musk melon juice from this restaurant. I told the restaurant that the juice is tasting very old after having few sips. Even though restaurant was ready to make a new juice ,or some other juice they were just explaining me about the price difference between the two juices . They were least bothered about making a juice which was certainly made from rotten or fruit that was cut long ago.

Service — I requested for seat and was following behind the waiter or the person who takes orders, he could have at least said some words like “please wait” or “let me check” . He was neither interested to respond nor welcoming .

Atmosphere- this place is not properly lit during the night.

Toilets were not clean , very stinky on 24/12/2024

I visited the Hotel on 29th June 2023 around 2 .30 p.m. with my family.

As per hotel it is the pick time for customers visit. I found only one person is taking order for food. The concern person took food order after 10 minutes from me.

The food delivery took 15 minutes to deliver from the time of order.

After taking 2 fried rice, i asked for another one fried rice but the food was not available for me. It was really surprising such a big chain hotel declines the food serving due to non availability.

After food, i asked for the bill for payment made through card, the delivery boy says it is not his duty to give the customer food bill, it is the duty of customer to collect from the front desk on its own.

Apart from above the behaviors of staff is rally shocking and more worse than expectation.

I feel i should not visit any of the branches of SARAVANA BHAVAN in future.

I'm sorry for Saravana Bhavan fans and the restaurant management for one Star.

It was rather a bitter experience which made me rate this. The staff was courteous and was trying to justify my irritation. I'm thankful for the polite staffs behavior.

Ordered special limited lunch with chapathi which costs Rs. 195 (I felt the food was priced high for what was served.)

I asked for ghee as an accompaniment and to my surprise the ghee was charged at Rs. 18.

The Lunch Thali had special rice as part of lunch and they served boiled black channa.

Also the Thali included ice cream which was not served but the check was served even before the lunch was finished.

The argument over all these irritation went in vain.

I can say that the staffs are not responsible for this issue.
