A Warm Slice of North India: Shree Gupta Bhavan Stepping into the restaurant , I was immediately enveloped by the comforting aroma of spices and the gentle buzz of happy diners. It promised an authentic North Indian experience, and for the most part, it delivered.
We started with the Paneer Tikka, a classic that’s often a litmus test for a restaurant’s culinary prowess. Here, the paneer was remarkably soft and marinated to perfection. The char from the tandoor added a smoky depth that complemented the creamy texture beautifully. A solid start.
For soups, we opted for the Mushroom Soup and Tomato Soup. The Mushroom Soup was rich and creamy, with a velvety smooth texture. The Tomato Soup was tangy and had croutons. Both were warming and satisfying, perfect for a chill evening. The main course featured the Kadai Paneer and Dal Makhni. The Kadai Paneer was everything you’d expect: a rich, creamy tomato-based gravy with melt-in-your-mouth paneer. It was undeniably delicious, though perhaps a tad sweet for my personal preference. The Dal Makhni, on the other hand, was a revelation. The gravy was thick, fragrant, and boasted a complex blend of spices that set it apart. The Dal was equally tender, and the overall dish was a masterclass in balance and flavor.
To accompany these gravies, we ordered Butter Roti and Butter Naan. The Butter Roti was soft, and perfectly cooked, providing a light and airy counterpoint to the rich gravies. The Butter Naan, however, stole the show. It was buttery, fluffy, and had just the right amount of chew. It was so good, we couldn’t resist ordering another basket. The service was attentive and friendly, prompt and efficient. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Overall: SGB offers a delightful taste of North India. While some dishes leaned slightly towards the sweeter side, the quality of the ingredients and the overall execution were commendable. The Kadai Paneer and the Butter Naan are definite must-tries. If you're looking for a comforting and satisfying North Indian meal, SGB is a worthy contender. Pros: Delicious and well-prepared Paneer dishes. Excellent Butter Naan. Authentic flavors.
Cons: Service could be a...

Read moreWorst experience ever please avoid this hotel they are supplying more spoiled foods. I have ordered for Aloo paratha and paneer dosa. First they served paneer dosa it was fine then they served spoiled Aloo paratha it was very sticky inside.
