DTOP ROOFTOP RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Zone 15 Sholinganallur

I came here on my Anniversary and thought will be a good place but it is on the opposite side of the spectrum. The experience is too bad that I can not even comprehend how this restaurant is still running.

To start with we got water, the glasses were not clean, and felt like they just rinse the glasses and brought on the table.

Then we orded mushroom 65 and chilly paneer. The order arrived in 30 minutes.

The mushroom 65 had a wierd oil taste. The chilly paneer was ok.

Then nobody came to clean the l3ft over plates. Then we ordered main course, i was already fed up and just wanted to get over with it. So just ordered Patiala Paneer and 1 garlic naan and 1 lacha paratha. The main course of this much came after 30 minutes.

The garlic naan was well under cooked. Just a dough splattered with garlic. The lacha paratha was decent.

The Patiala paneer was so bad. It was like hot ice cream. So much sugar, that you will get a sugar rush.

The atmosphere is also like a local road side dhaba, just on a roof top.

Not safe for children, everywhere there are open sockets, just waiting for an accident.

The serving staff is so bad, they are just watching the projector screen instead of working.

The menu card is on torn photostat pages and food from the previous customers fingers is stick to it.

Overall its not...

I gave 1 star out of 5 but this restaurant is not worthy for that 1 star also.

I celebrated one birthday party here, I took one package that includes Balloon arch with photo hanging decoration, Half kg cake, Electric cracker will be bursted while cutting the cake, Candle light decorations, Rose petals decorations, Welcome photo with flower shower.

They asked us requirements for decorations ans shared some pictures we need to select from that, we selected one but they have decorated in their own manner the ballon arch is totally different from what we selected.

The photo hangings are very very blur we can’t identify whether it our photo or not, Package has half kg cake but they gave 250 kg cake, at first they said electric cracker is not there but manipulated that it will there on bday party atlast that cracker is not present.

The candle light decoration I did not see them in my life they that much worst they kept electrical ones but the lights are not working at all. They staff in there even did not allow us to play music even for some time. It was literally like a full of silence.

One female talked to us in phone and have 100% guarantee for all our requirements but atlast she changed her words when questioned her. Be careful it’s just waste of money and spoiling specials...

Ambience & Service: The ambience is good, and the service is quite decent.There is not music However, the menus are dusty and not well-maintained like the dust is sticking to the fingers when tried to flip the pages, not something you'd expect in a restaurant, honestly. Hygiene needs attention.

Starters:

Rara Chicken & Schezwan Chicken – Both were served cold, like thawed frozen chicken tossed in gravy. Disappointing.

Dragon Chicken – Surprisingly good. Well-cooked and flavorful.

Rangoon Chicken – Average. Nothing memorable, lacked punch.

Garlic Fish – Excellent! Soft, slightly chewy, and perfectly textured. I don’t usually eat fish, but this one impressed me.

Reshmi Kebab – Bland, no flavor at all. Just mildly juicy.

Major Letdown: The biggest disappointment no biryani available on weekdays. It wasn’t mentioned in the menu or on Google Maps. We even called the restaurant beforehand (no one picked up), so we assumed biryanis were available. Turns out, they only serve them on weekends. Huge turn-off. And also most the dishes were not available which are the mentioned...
