Naga Reju Fast Food - Located near the choolaimedu signal. This place was on my mind for so many days and finally had a chance to be there. A pakka North eastern cuisine restaurant. They have only Chicken, Pork, Beef dishes and a couple of veg dishes. We had ordered for Steamed Chicken momos - Excellent value for money 👌 Pork slice fry - Another mild spicy dish which was sooo yum. Chicken lollipop - The preparation was slightly different from the usual ones we get and lacked salt in it. Chicken soup chow - Good quantity of noodles (chow) in soup. The quantity is such that two people can have this. Spicy chicken rice - This one was verryyyy spicy 🌶️🔥 and again the quantity was sufficient for 2 people. Pork chow - Good quantity and the taste was amazing with mild spiciness. Beef NKC Bamboo shoot - NKC stands for Naga King Chilly. The person mentioned that this is the spiciest among all the dishes. But we didn't feel so. And I did not like the flavour of the Bamboo shoot. Should have tried just the NKC dish without the Bamboo shoot curry 🙄

Ambience - Very basic. Non AC. Typical fast food ambience.

Parking - No parking facilities available. Its on the main road and it is difficult to park the two wheelers itself nearby.

A bit hard to find for those who are not accustomed to Choolaimedu, it is basically a hole in the wall kind of a place.

Ambience was gloomy to say the least, dim lighting gave a vibe of "Maybe we made a wrong decision coming here". The smell was awful we had masks on and were still taken aback, can be described as entering a meat stall — Raw meat smell that just reinforced our thought of coming to the wrong place.

Service was prompt, we told him about the smell and seems they did not have a room refreshner so he turned on all the fans to get rid of some of the smell. We told him that this was our first time and he recommended some of their dishes. He did caution ⚠️ us on few of the dishes being having a strong smell and taste so we steered clear of it.

Food was great, we had Spicy Mixed Rice, Spicy Mixed Noodles, Garlic Beef, and Pork NKC fry. The quantity of rice, noodles and mixed meat in the dishes were astounding, usually places serve more rice and meat in cornflour to boost their quantity but not these people, we legit had meat here. And if you ask for Spicy food the deliver Spicy food 3 spoonfuls and we were already in tears 😢. Good quality food with good quantity.

Would recommend the place but with a caution of...

This place already has a cult following that I don't think I need to write a review. But as a regular customer who is also from the North East India, this place is synonymous to love and comfort for me. Not only is the food delicious and reasonably priced, the portions are hefty. If you are new, just close your eyes and point anything on the menu especially the pork section. Even the worst pick can't be too bad here. The dishes have the regional touch of the Naga style of cooking and is simply unique and OBVIOUSLY yummy. The servers are quite chilled and laid back too. Just good people overall. There is no such thing as a rude service here. The only qualm I get from some picky folks are the lightning of the room. To be honest, they can work on a better lightning and renovation of the place but to those who go there for the food, things like that don't even matter, it's a fast food spot. The place is located one building away from the main road and the path way is not the cleanest, yet new people manage to find it. Ps: the servers are quite honest too. If the wait is gonna be long they'll just let you know what you are in for. They've even suggested me to go to other restaurants if I was in a time crunch once. You...
