I can't give it 0 stars, so 1 at best. This is for a certain reason.
The problem is quality control. I have tried the chicken butter masala here before. It was nice enough. Good chicken pieces, like proper lean breast meat, the best kind.
Chose to try it again tonight. This time I got what seems to be left over thigh pieces, with fat and other yucky things stuck to them. I tried to separate and pick out edible pieces. It was not particularly a pleasant experience, which I am used to normally when getting breast meat. These thigh pieces could even have been stale, because soon after I ate it, my stomach rejected the food, and I puked it all out.
The lesson is, their biryani is good. If you wish to try anything, go for the biryani. Stay away from everything else.
Actually, this is not particularly specific to such no-frills eating joints. Such places specialise in one item, at the expense of all others. This place's speciality is dum biryani. That is all. I sure hope I don't have to eat my words...
Read moreLike any other branch, the place is great for stomach full dine out in your moderate budget and below are my personal observation at this particular branch.
A biryani can easily serve 2 people and tastes great (₹180) Shawarma Plate is good in taste and high in quantity (₹130) Pepper Grill Chicken is also well cooked and mayonnaise provided has good taste as well (₹200 for half) [they can decrease the vegetable quantity to maintain taste] Bread Halwa is served as a complementary dish with every order. Their onion Raitha and brinjal gravy have great taste as well.
Drawbacks: Limited parking space outside (2 wheelers only) Limited seats available (4 table with 4 chairs each) Non-AC restaurant, as a result it could be really hot at times and make it uncomfortable to dine out The heavy noise made by the servers (tapping on the biryani container) is highly disturbing and it's non-stop Restrooms are average Seating chairs are just okay and not...
Read more⭐ 1/5 Absolutely Disgusting Experience, Found a Worm in the Biryani!
I visited S S Hyderabadi Biryani expecting a flavorful meal, but was completely horrified to find a worm in the chicken biryani I ordered. This is not just unacceptable, it’s a serious health hazard.
The fact that such a lapse in hygiene and food safety could occur is deeply concerning. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, their response was dismissive and lacked any real apology or sense of urgency. The Manager was like you can leave without paying if you don't want to eat it. He was so rude and he was trying to make us leave the place before other customers ask questions to them. This is not an appropriate behaviour. There was no visible steps taken to address the issue.
S S Hyderabad must prioritize cleanliness and customer safety and must take action on staffs like these. Based on this experience, I will never return and strongly advise others to be cautious before...
