Went to Marina Beach fish market recently and was surprised by what I saw. Earlier this fish market was spread along the road with shanties all along. But now every shop is shifted to a new huge area constructed for this purpose only. It goes by the name Modern Fish Market. It is a huge area and all the shops are now under one place which is a fantastic news. The only drawback is I think that there is no designated parking space. Any how, the place has a major face-lift and a step in right direction.

Marina beach fish 🐟 market(also known as kuppam) is oldest In chennai .. you will find all sea water fresh fishes here .. its a place where you get all sea food available at one place ..people who sell also give u fish/prawns by cleaning them if u give money to clean.. You have to search for the fresh fishes in diffrent shops available there..otherwise u will end with the rotten one .. so kindly check fish/prawns wether they r fresh while buying

Fresh fishes are sold but those fishes are purchased from Kasimedu fish market.. 🤣😂🤣 but cheaper than Kasimedu fish market.. If any idea of buying Prawn go to Kasimedu.. If any other fish Marian Beach Fish Market as per me.. Decisions might vary person to person. 😇 Clean and better than Kasimedu...
