Dreamwave Donuts — Restaurant in Bali

VEGAN DONUTS really?! Impressive how you can get these flavors without regular ingredients. Everything is freshly made and the owner puts so much care and attention in trying to make them as healthy as possible. I tried 6 flavors and one of them is with natural mango with almost any sugar in it. They use natural coconut milk in their mixes and for sure you can feel it in their drinks. The design of the place can be either back to the 80's or dreaming yourself into the future... Just stop reading this review and get yourself there... You wont...

We stopped after breakfast to try these doughnuts. We ordered a Raspberry Jelly and Blueberry Cream doughnuts. I have never had vegan doughnuts so I have nothing but my experience with non vegan doughnuts to compare. Also ordered a Cappecino.

The doughnuts themselves have a less cakey mouthfeel than a comparable fried doughnut that I'm used to.

I like the chewy texture. I also liked that they aren't as sticky sweet as the common filled American doughnut. Even with all of the toppings.

This vegan donuts really nailed it! You won't expect they are plant based unless somebodt told you. The texture is perfect, not tok soft and not too hard or chewy. The flavor also tasty, not too sweet. The ambience of the cafe is unique, it's like a sauna inside, but looks like aquarium outside. For a donut, it's quite pricey actually, 40k each, but at least the worth the taste. Definitely will be back.
