We visited Blacklist Coffee twice during our 3-night stay in Canggu, and we’re already planning to stop by again tomorrow before our next trip.

The first time, I had a coffee with almond milk paired with a dark chocolate brioche. The coffee had such a smooth blend, and the pastry was just perfect, not too sweet, rich, and absolutely my favourite. The next day, I tried a latte with full cream milk alongside a canelé. Both were equally enjoyable, with the latte being creamy and well-balanced, and the canelé having that nice caramelised crunch with a soft centre.

As Melbournians, we’re usually proud to say our coffee back home is the best in the world, but I must admit that Blacklist Coffee could easily rival it. The flavour and quality are so good that it almost feels like it deserves to be called Whitelist… but since coffee is black, the name makes sense.

On one of my visits, I also ordered ginger and lemongrass hot tea, which was a refreshing surprise. Instead of a teabag, it was freshly blended with real ginger and lemongrass, making it fragrant and soothing.

Overall, our experience has been excellent with great coffee, delicious pastries, and just a short walk from where we stayed. A must-visit when in Canggu!
