El Greco is that little hidden gem you accidentally find and then wonder how you ever lived without. Right in the middle of Seminyak’s hustle, surrounded by fancy restaurants and the nonstop energy of Petitenget, there’s this tiny, happy place that feels like a secret oasis. It’s small — but in the best way. Like a pocket-sized slice of heaven where the food is always fresh, the vibes are always good, and the chaos outside magically fades away. The moment you step in, you’re not just escaping the busy street; you’re stepping into a cozy, colorful, and super chill corner of Greece, right here in Bali. El Greco isn’t trying to be fancy — it’s just fun, friendly, and full of flavor. A place where you can laugh over a plate of souvlaki, sip something cold, and forget that outside, the world is rushing by. If you’re in Petitenget, this is your happy place — small but mighty, simple but unforgettable.

Walking down the street we (my wife and me) stopped here to check the menu and were Greeted by this gentleman (Owner of the Place) who so lovingly showed us the menu, a mix of Greek and Mediterranean Cuisine. We decided to have our dinner here, the ambience was just perfect. The staff made sure we were comfortable at our table. We had Lemon Chicken cooked in Mustard Sauce, Kebab Palace with Pita bread and Pilav and Falafel. Everything was very delicious and cooked very well. The owner checked with us if we found the food to our liking. We absolutely Loved the food and the staff were very pleasant. Just when we finished our dinner the owner of the restaurant surprised us with his own creation of desert and Lemon Gello shots. So if you are in Kuta Region you do not want to miss this place... They serve Sheesha as well... + Free WiFi (which actually works... !!!)

Arrived at 12pm for lunch, they said they arent open yet. The lady was definitely not glad to see us. We waited for quite a while outside before she came out to give us the menu. When we asked if we could sit inside, she gave an annoyed face and muttered it's not cleaned. She took back the menu instead of giving it to us and spent time mopping the floors instead while we waited outside. Really bizarre imo. Was hoping that the food would be worth the wait and bad service. Nope, not sure how they are getting good reviews, but the lemon chicken I had tasted acidic and bitter that I couldn't even finish my meal. I tried my friends octopus, it was really chewy and disappointing Only thing that was okay to eat was the hummus dip w pita bread. But wasn't amazing too. I liked the lemon mint tea tho. Overall, wouldn't recommend here at all

Look no further for tasty, authentic Greek food. My partner and I were a bit tired of Indonesian food whilst on our holiday in Bali. Having both visited and fallen in love with Greece (and Greek food) we decided to try out El Greco. We ordered the meat platter, spinach pide and loukoumades. The food was amazing! It was fresh, delicious and came out within a good time but not too quick to think it wasn't fresh. The decor was typical of a Greek restaurant. The owner, who is from Mykonos, came out to chat with us and was very friendly. He actually came to the table later with two shots of limoncello free of charge which was a nice gesture. The place was memorable and if we were to visit Bali again we'd definitely be back. We're telling all our friends who are going to Bali to go for dinner here. To our surprise though, the place was relatively empty. There was a table of Germans there that seemed to be having a good time but other than that, there was no one else there. Definitely check this place out - it's an absolute shame it wasn't busy as...

We came here for late dinner noting that it opens till 1am and recent reviews seem decent. Had the lemon chicken and beef stew with mashed potatoes (forgot the name of the dish). Honestly it's not that great... lemon chicken was really sour, salty and oily. Although the chicken was very tender and falls off the bone which wasn't what I was expecting. The beef cubes were tough and chewy so it was hard to finish the entire dish. Everything else went well during dinner, the owner even made us sit back down to receive complimentary limoncello and fried donuts. I wouldn't have left a bad review if not for the fact that I got really nauseous and dizzy the next morning and experienced vomiting and fever later. Considering that this meal was the only proper one I had that day, it's most likely the cause of my food poisoning... Went back to check out the bad reviews for this restaurant, seems like there are others who noted it for bad hygiene. :( not a good start...

This has been one of the best restaurants I have been to in Bali. It has an amazing variety of food. Delicious and fast service. The owner of the restaurant is an amazing chef that has run restaurants in Istanbul and Mykanos these places have the highest quality service and food in the world if you haven't been there. This explains why this restaurant is so good. The owner has an amazing perfection in the food he serves to his clients. He takes pride and enjoys seeing his customers leave happy. You will have an amazing experience there. The restaurant looks a little run down and does require an update as is aging but don't let that worry you as it is very clean and serves the best food that I have come across in the 15 times I have visited Bali. I will definitely go there again and would recommend El Greco restaurant to everybody who loves great food. Thank you El Greco and to all its...
