Kaemon Bali - Munggu — Restaurant in Bali

I normally love this place and have come many times but today will be the last. I rarely complain but I have an allergy to sesame. We always make sure this is clear before we order any food.

Unfortunately two dishes came with sesame on. That’s fine mistakes are made they swapped it on the first dish. The second dish they decided to tell me that it is not sesame even though both me and my fiancée can see clearly it’s both black and white sesame seeds within the dish. If I was not allergic I would just suck it up and eat it but unfortunately if I eat these I will need to use an epipen.

We then went back and forth over 5 times with them arguing the case it was not sesame my fiancée even ate some and confirmed it’s definitely sesame. Now in any case whether they were right or we were right as a business owner myself I would’ve just swapped the dish or suggested an alternate dish.

Instead of this we had an argument which went round in circles. I was then charged for this item even though I sent it back 😂. If you have no allergies this food is fantastic but for me personally now we won’t...

When I went there during lunch time, not so many people inside, prolly around 3-4 tables only. It didn’t take long time to wait for the food after I ordered mine. I ordered 2 sushi and 1 potato salad. Not the best one, but ok for sushi around Munggu (I did have high expectation due to its design that is so Japanese). The bad thing was, my cold ocha came when I finished all of my food. I think they forgot my drink, as it didn’t take much time to serve the “ready to drink” ocha. The waitress was not standby onbthe 2nd floor and I have to go down to ask for my drink. Hope my next visit will be better, maybe I will order...
