Locas Waroeng — Restaurant in Bali

Absolutely 5 Star!! This is my favorite restaurant in Keramas and I come here almost every day after surfing. Staff is kind and welcoming and so are the local regulars. The view of the beach is gorgeous and front row, so you can watch people rip while you eat and chill. Great couch style seating or regular tables. They also have a surf shower and board racks. You can pay for parking and the attendant will watch your bike or you can just pull up to the restaurant and you'll be fine. I don't know the car parking routine but it's available.

The coffee, cappuccinos and fruit smoothies are some of the best I've found so far. I get the Scrambled Egg breakfast for 50k which comes with bacon, sausage, grilled tomato and a slice of real bread, not the cheap stuff. For lunch, I go with the Chicken Curry or Teriyaki for 60k. For dinner, I get the Tuna Steak for 95k or if I want something different they have specials on the board that never disappoint. I haven't had their western food but everything I've tried is delicious!

Any review less than 4 Stars is insane. Bali belly can happen anywhere. Complaining about plastic straws? Give me a break. Regardless, they have paper straws now.

An atmospheric place with an incredible view of the surf spot!

We originally came here just to have breakfast and work for about 30 minutes, but this place completely won us over with its beauty and atmosphere, so we ended up staying until closing time. Cozy design, friendly staff, a breathtaking view of the ocean and surfers—everything here invites you to relax and enjoy.

It’s also a great place to meet surfers and even find an instructor, just like we did—our first lesson is already scheduled for tomorrow! However, keep in mind that this spot is more suitable for experienced surfers, as the waves are quite big. But that’s what makes the view from your table absolutely stunning—you get to watch powerful waves, surfers riding them, and the raw energy of the ocean right before your eyes!

We visited during the rainy season, and the weather kept changing—sometimes it was sunny, sometimes there were heavy showers—but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. There are plenty of places to take shelter, and as soon as the rain stops, you can head back out to enjoy the view.

A special highlight is the delicious homemade food. We tried several dishes, and each one was flavorful and cooked with love.

I didn’t expect that I hung out for all day in this place. Food, atmosphere, service and really cool staff - everything is amazing and if you find this place, you must stay here and try to feel this locas vibe. You need to read every sentences on the boards attached to walls, because these phrases about our life and it’s really cool that you can occasionally find it and think about meanings. We came with my boyfriend here, because I wanted to spend time and work by the ocean, but this experience was unusual and unexpectable! I didn’t want to leave this café and ithus atmosphere inspires me to try surfing in Bali or make some photos and just to do some art and hang out with your friends. Black sand and wide ocean made me happy. This is my big recommend for everyone to try local food because every position this are unbelievable, especially macaroni with cheese.
