A Memorable Experience at Timur Kitchen

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Timur Kitchen, located within the picturesque Komaneka at Keramas Beach resort. From the moment I stepped foot into this enchanting establishment, I was captivated by its beauty and charm. Here's why my experience at Timur Kitchen was nothing short of exceptional.

First and foremost, the location of Timur Kitchen is simply breathtaking. Situated right on the beachfront, I was treated to stunning views of the ocean while enjoying my meal. The serene ambiance, combined with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore, created a truly memorable dining atmosphere.

One aspect that immediately caught my attention was the abundance of flowers adorning the restaurant. The vibrant blooms added a touch of elegance and natural beauty to the surroundings. It was a delightful visual feast that perfectly complemented the coastal setting, making me feel closer to nature.

Now, the food. Timur Kitchen boasts a culinary experience that is nothing short of perfection. Each dish I had the pleasure of savoring was expertly prepared and presented with meticulous attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, the flavors danced harmoniously on my palate, leaving me craving more. The chefs at Timur Kitchen truly have a talent for capturing the essence of local cuisine and infusing it with their own creative twists.

In conclusion, my experience at Timur Kitchen, Komaneka at Keramas Beach, was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of breathtaking beachfront views, the abundance of beautiful flowers, the exquisite cuisine, the warm and attentive staff, and the family-friendly atmosphere created a truly memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Timur Kitchen to anyone seeking a culinary journey that celebrates both taste and ambiance. It is a hidden gem that shines with brilliance in the heart...

We arrived at the gazebo and relaxed for around 30 minutes without anyone approaching us. Eventually, we went to order two coconuts, and that’s when Putu informed us that there was a minimum spend of 500k IDR per person to stay at the gazebo. This seemed unreasonable because the place wasn’t anything like a busy beach club in Canggu—there were no crowds, and all three gazebos were completely empty. In fact, if we hadn’t gone to order, no one would’ve even noticed we were there.

We explained that we only wanted coconuts at that moment but planned to return for dinner. Putu agreed, and we stayed for another 30 minutes before leaving. As promised, we came back for dinner later that day.

However, when the bill arrived, Putu pointed out that our total was only 600k IDR and implied that it still wasn’t enough, referencing the 500k per person minimum again. This was confusing because we had clearly discussed our plans earlier.

What made the situation worse was their attitude. Both Putu and his colleague Dewa came across as rude, pointing at their name tags with an attitude that felt more like playground bravado than professional hospitality—“Yes, that’s my name,” as if trying to initiate a fight in a sandbox at the age of five. But we weren’t children on a playground—we were their guests.

When we said we’d prefer to settle the matter now because we wouldn’t return the next day, they dismissed us with laughter, joking about it as if it were some sort of challenge. Their mocking tone, saying things like “Come tomorrow, talk to our manager” felt unprofessional and disrespectful. The way they spoke about their manager gave us the impression that this type of behavior was not only accepted but likely endorsed at the restaurant.

This entire experience was disappointing, especially from a place where we expected a higher standard of professionalism, respect, and...

Great food, great hospitality, great place! Definitely will comeback here again one day.

Me and my family tried these:

  1. Stuffed Duck Leg Confit 5/5 (definitely one of their signature dishes, love the presentation, rich in flavor yet perfectly balanced, wonderful journey and experience in my mouth!)
  2. Pesto Chicken Florentine 4/5 (decent, could've been better)
  3. Lychee Mint Iced Tea 5/5 (not just a typical fruit tea, freshly made)
  4. Iced Cafe Latté 4/5 (as expected, was hoping for a unique touch on the presentation)
  5. Complimentary Bread 5/5 (able to select the preferred bread, we chose Focaccia, love the texture, love the butter)

Other than the foods: Lovely place (building, landscape, interior) Great senses (ample ocean view, breaking waves sound, breezy wheather) Top notch hospitality and f&b services, trully Komaneka standard eventhough it's quite far from the other 4...

We spent 3 nights at the resort and ate at Timur Kitchen every night and we were very impressed with all dishes we tried. The prices in this restaurant even though it's housed in the resort is very reasonable, even the cocktails and we didn't feel like we were been overcharged by the resort, kudos to the management for keeping the price point right. Views from the restaurant are wonderful, you are seated right in the front watching the waves crashing in and a delightful way to enjoy your meal. The kitchen staff here are really well trained as it shows in all the dishes we tried, they were all perfectly seasoned, prepared wonderfully and every dish was packed with flavour and tasted very nice. I would recommend to go with their daily dinner specials (needs to be ordered 6hrs in advance).
