We (12 people) miscalculated our journey to batur. At 10pm we haven't eaten any food since lunch. We stumbled upon this restoran when trying to find any restaurant open at 10pm. We were very surprised

All the staff are very friendly despite the fact that we came at several minutes before 10pm. I forgot to ask our server name, but she went extra miles explaining the food options and what not. We were about to ask about halal menu, since some people in our group are Moslem, but she assured us right away before we even raised the question. We were seated on the second floor, and she also stayed up here to make sure we can ask or order without having to go downstairs

The food is amazing. Oh the server i mentioned earlier checked our dish to make sure we are satisfied with the food. She kept apologising to me because my drink came out after the food. When the food is served, she ask us if everything is okay. One of the dish came out somewhat different than the description (there should be 4 pancakes, but we got 3). She apologized and bring out a new one with 4 pancakes.

When we asked the bill, she asked us if we pay with cash or card. After she learned that we will pay with card, she brought the EDC. This is rare. We usually have to go to the cashier and finish the transaction there if we use card. We get out of the restaurant at 11 pm (1 hour after they close) but all the staff are still there to say thank you and good bye. It was the best hospitality a customer can experience. Will definitely recommend the restaurant to other since it has halal option and not...

Previously I explore whether there is a restaurant that is recommended not far from my hotel (rumah luwih), one of them was directed to this restaurant ☺☺

My first impression when I came to the restaurant was the hospitality of all staff 🙏👍🙏. I went there on 30 Dec 2019 and coincided with dinner time. 1st floor is full and offered to 2nd floor. I ordered some food.

Skip ..... go straight to the food rating.

Mie goreng (for my son and complete less than 10 minutes), you can judge how the score is. ☺☺

Nasi campur Bali (delicious, especially the chicken betutu)

Bakwan jagung (yummy...) Sate lilit ayam (yummy...)

Pork ribs (+nasi?), still ok but not as expected at the beginning like pork ribs in Denpasar (u know lah .. 😉😉)

Pisang goreng (sorry was canceled because it was late and my son was sleepy), almost 9 pm

So... for those of you who are in this area, I recommend that you stop by to eat at this...

✨ A magical moment, a golden spot! ✨

From the moment I stepped into this restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. But honestly, I never expected to be this charmed, touched, and completely satisfied!

🥘 The food? A true masterpiece! Succulent, juicy, generous, and prepared with love… You can feel that every dish is made from the heart, with the chef pouring their soul into every bite.

💫 But what truly makes this place unique is the team. The waiters and waitresses are absolute gems. Incredibly kind, naturally caring, always making sure everything is perfect, with a sincere smile that brightens up your meal. They’re not just professional, they are warm, human, and passionate. Here, they don’t just serve you food—they welcome you as an honored guest, or even as family.

💯 I highly recommend it, 1000%! This restaurant deserves all the support in the world. Go there with your eyes closed, but your heart...

My husband and I have been in Bali for a week now and we had our best meal so far at Warung Legong. The experience was incredible from start to finish with Kadek, the owner and loveliest person, picking us up and dropping us back at our hotel for free (7 min drive each way). The restaurant has a wonderful vibe - it’s a real family affair with Kadek’s wife as the head chef and even his extremely sweet 9 year old son insisting on helping wait tables. We ate the most delicious food for a very reasonable price (with some watermelon thrown in for free!). We can highly recommend the spring rolls (best I’ve ever had), corn fritters, fish of the day, grilled tiger prawns and coconut crepe. We loved our waitress Weda who was very forthcoming with excellent recommendations. Only thing to note: only sit directly next to the paddy field if you don’t mind bugs! Otherwise this place is perfect and we long to go back there.

The service is impossibly good. 😭 Arrived there with a kid asleep in the car, no stroller. The staff promptly made a makeshift bed from 2 long benches, covered it with a Balinese sarong and another one as the blanket. The food was awesome. My husband had the nasi campur (requested the halal version) and the sambal matah was the best! The waitress was the perfect definition of waiting tables. She wasn't hovering around but was there before you even think you needed them. They promptly offered us an extra serving of sambal matah when we told them it was so good. No extra charge. I ordered the pork ribs and it was sublime.. tasted like a really good beef ribs, not too fatty but incredibly tender, bones-fell-off-the-meat kind of tender. The music selection was awesome. You will definitely still feel like eating on a roadside because of the noise, but a really really really good one at that.
