Shary Shary — Restaurant in Bali

I ordered the tenderloin steak baguette. The steak was not tender, a little tough actually, and the bread was slightly stale. Multiple staff came to our table and at no point were we asked how our food was. I found this a little strange considering that the restaurant is in its soft opening period? You would think they would like to know what customers think of their new offering? There was also, what appeared to be a manager sitting at the bar, who said goodbye to us when we were leaving, but didnt ask how our experience was either? The interesting thing is that they have cards on each table, asking people to whats app their feedback, yet while you are in the restaurant they dont ask you anything about your experience? This restaurant looks great and has alot of potential, but i feel the food needs to be better and the staff need to be more customer focussed. Not worth the price...

Beautiful menu & cafe. Love how there’s a good balance & selection of meat & vegetarian/vegan friendly dishes.

Presentation of food is great as well. Each table has salt & pepper which you could use to add seasoning to your food depending on your individual taste preferences.

The liver pate & cauliflower dish were delicious. The rare beef was nice but we preferred it to be medium rather than rare so remember to request to change that as well if you’d like. The pork would have been better if it was more tender, as it was quite dry.

Good selection of cocktails & 1-for-1 promo as well for glasses & jugs.

Horribly cooked duck, mushy skin, alot of fat and overcooked meat and burnt sauce. When we complained they said it was supposed to be like that and asked if we wanted another one the side as if we offended the waitress. After a brief quarrel she pointed to the plate and then pointed to our table obviously talking down our table. The one we got on the side was actually really good, but they already drenched in the first one so the dish was destroyed.

The Indonesian traditional plate was ok, but the one on my hotel has better flavors. The drinks does not taste much but alcohol.
