First of all - the location of this place is very nice, also the atmosphere. Nice setting in a ricefield. But other than that, it was a disaster. waiters could not explain anything about the food to guests. the juice was very watery, no taste at all, felt like 80℅ water. The ice tea (es teh manis) came with no ice, and was not cold at all, as they put hot tea in a glass with ice.. all the ice melted. we ordered diabolic chicken wings, and they brought us chicken legs instead, without any word. pork ribs were the worst I ever had - dry, too much sauce - BBQ with star anise, no taste of the meat at all..only sauce. The vegetables served with the meal were not cooked long enough-still too hard the chicken was super dry, potatoes served with it were most probably from the previous day as they were already smelly&tasted soury. Vegetables were hard too..
Feel so sorry the owner is not able to use the full potential of the beautiful scenery, we will for sure never come back for food/drinks again, huge disappointed.
The bonus was, they even use the sambal from the supermarket instead of...
Read moreSorry I have to give a bad review bcs I was quite hangry. Hungry and angry you know. I waited almost 30 minutes for the food and there were girls beside me that were too loud. The ambience of the place is nice especially before night when you can see the paddy field. I was by myself and had to watch netflix bcs it got dark while I was waiting for my food and nothing else to do (the paddy field isnt visible anymore)
The food was not that great, I wanted to buy one menu and it wasn’t available so I bought Soto Ayam instead. They don’t sell brown rice and as I can remember, very few menu for vegan/vegetarian.
Soto ayam : The taste was pretty mild and the taste of the overall ingredients didnt connect with one another.
Prawn Gyoza : home made, the filling burst everywhere on the plate makes the plating really bad. They use very very salty sauce. The filling was mostly lettuce and I dont know what else?? Kinda random but okay
Maybe this place will be suitable for you who can wait while chatting with friends and enjoy the...
Read moreIts time for me to leave a review based on couple times i went to this warung. located in Kerobokan in the middle of rice fields, not only pretty at night because of the lights, they served delicious food and most important is, not expensive. They have the best gyoza yet the cheapest one i ever ate! I also recommend you to try their fish soup and beef black pepper (generous chunk of beef-not chewy at all with crushed whole black peppers) OMG! The staffs were super trained and polite, the owner was sweet asking our food, and we genuinely loved it, and he asked to leave a review here, so i did! Everyone must know this gem!
