Imperial Kitchen & Dimsum — Restaurant in Balikpapan

as far as i know it’s a chinese restaurant, and it’s definitely not my first time eating at imperial kitchen specifically in pentacity and each time they just served less less portion, normally people go to chinese restaurant so they can share their food but your portion is literally consider a kids meal portion! it taste good most of times but definitely not worth the price and how long the time it took for each plate get served. this pic shows how miserable you are in portioning, left was on march n the other 2 was just yesterday ( i laughed inside when they served the noodles it was around 60k with tax which ridiculous seeing the portion ) not to mention that mayonnaise shrimp! clearly was not like their picture on the menu! serve in a veryyyyy small plate with only 5-6 small pieces of shrimp for almost 100k with tax?!! n maybe the pictures don’t really do justice cause i took close up pictures but please it’s meant to be a sharing plate, it’s clearly not worth...

Not bad at all but portion is a bit small.

We ordered bazillion drinks that weren't that delicious but passable.

Anything with durian was not really durian IMO, more to sauce like and maybe durian flavoring?

Tasty fried rice, however fried gurame was tasteless without the dipping, oyster bokchoy could have been yummier, more filling needed for the tiny size steamed buns, the sapo tofu was again, such a small portion for the price.

Service was great tho, fast...

First time nyobain makan di sini itupun karna rekomendasi temen. Dan pas cobain sendiri, agak zonk sih.. 2 hidangan makanan berat harus nunggu hampir 50 menit baru keluar makanannya. terlebih, ada customer yg datangnya setelah kita tetapi customer itu duluan yg di hidangkan makanannya. nyeletuk lah ke mba waitress nya dengan niat cuma nanya "mba, belum kah pesanan kami?" jawaban mba nya "belum kak, sebentar ya" dengan nada sopan. tetapi setelah itu kami ngeliat mba ini geleng-geleng karna kita tanyain kayak gitu (mungkin karna kita kurang cukup sabar) yaa menurut klen aja 50 menit nunggu dan makanan blm dapat respon geleng geleng gitu.. alhasil jadi ga mood makan dan makanan nya juga kureng lagi. yaa intinya kureng banget dah resto ini. kalo kerja harus professional, dan apabila mau julid atau ngerespon buruk balik tentang customermu, jangan depan customer, bikin ga mood...
