Place is HUGE! Good for groups eat out.
They have a restaurant, as well as a cafe. The cafe is just small area at the front though. I did not try that.
It is like warung style where you choose what you want to eat based on what they display there. Most of the food is ready to serve, so for quick eating, it will be a good option.
They have variety of indonesian food, from ayam bakar, ikan bakar, tahu tauco, to gado gado and many other things. Price is normal, for example the chicken is 24k, nila bakar is 60k, some others vary from like 8k.
The place has no AC, because it is all semi outdoor but smoking is not allowed. There are some cats around. Parking lot is okay, but not as huge as the restaurant.
PRO TIP: Their takeaway price is double than dine in (for each meal, not additional packaging cost). Bring your own containers, order for dine in, then you pack the food yourself to your...
Read moreVery homey atmosphere. Lots of plants and greenery...felt like home. Lots of antique stuff. Place are quite big. Food is super delicious. Its Indonesian food. Good place to bring kids and big crowds. Our kids like to run around in the backyard. We always come to eat here for some reasons every time we go to Bandung. The service is quite slow, we ordered drinks and it was really took a long time until they brought it to our table. We came 2 days after Ramadhan and maybe that's why. Basically I just hate long line. :D Parking lot was so small, we had to parked across the street. If you bring small children its better if you go to the main entrance and load off your kids then park your car somewhere else. No playground for the kids but that ok...may kids was quite happy just running around the vicinity. Overall...you will enjoy the atmosphere here,...
Read moreWe've been here twice in the past month while in Bandung and it's worth a visit. There are two separate areas of the restaurant and we tried both. There is a more upscale part that I believe only is for dinner but I might be wrong about that. We tried this during Eid and broke fast in the evening here. It is very nicely decorated and a great lively atmosphere. We felt the food was good but not particularly special. The other part of the restaurant is more like a cafeteria style set up where you take a look and choose the items you want. We had lunch this time and the food was excellent! There are lots of different things to choose from to fill your plate. There is less atmosphere on this side but the food was much tastier. Overall, I would recommend Cafe Bali as it offers options for you. We will come back again to Cafe Bali...
