Rumah Makan Padang Bu Mus — Restaurant in Bandung City

Bu mus is one of the best padang restaurant in bandung. Their food is top notch and the ingredients is also high quality.

Tried their sate Padang here, while their sauce is a bit different than others (have curry like sauced), and the taste was great, the price point is pricier than other place because they have little meats and only have 8 skewers.

Their food was also great, the fish tauco was one of the best, the dendeng and rendang was also good (but not the best).

Unfortunately in time of covid, the table placement was kind of near to one another. We often meet another people in the hallways, sometimes we also meet the server while they're walking from/to another customer.

Overall I had a great time here, but the price point is a bit pricier than other well-known padang restaurant in town. Probably will come back here if I crave for...

One of padang restaurant in Bandung. The place is located near another food place in buah batu. It has small parking area. After we got a table, the waitress served the food directly. But every waitress served the food differently. For example we wanted to eat 'a food', it did not served in our table but served in another table. They did not have standard prosedur about what menu that would be serve. They chosed by their own 'taste'. It was a doom if we got a waitress with 'low' taste. Can we ask? Yes we can but it would take a very long time. They would said sold out for the worst because they were too lazy and too busy. The food taste is so so, nothing special....

I grow up with Nasi Padang Bu Mus, so I might be biased...but wherever I go, I never find nasi padang as amazing, delicious, heartwarming, satisfying as this. Once you go Bu Mus, you can never go back. You can never look at other nasi padang. Their rendang, although might be a bit hard to chew at times (when you're not very lucky!) the seasonings is just PERFECTION. Adding sambal merah and sambal ijo, it's even more perfect. No matter how oily and unhealthy it is, I will always come back for more nasi padang. Oh their dendeng balado and ayam pop are superb too!! Ayam kuning is also good. My goodness i can go...
