According to my husband who grew up in Bandung, this is a legendary restaurant and one of its kind. I wasn't keen on frog dishes so I wasn't expecting much to begin with...

However,

Food: delicious sauces, the meat was crispy yet not dry and very well-seasoned. It didn't smell and it was just right

We ordered: kodok goreng saus kecap, kodok goreng lada garam, soup tauco kodok

Service: efficient and friendly

Restaurant: clean and tidy

Very recommended if you want to try something new/unusual or just wanting something nostalgic if you had this before during your childhood

Quite expensive, small portion, and tastes good. Last time I tried "Swike Kuah Tauco" and "Swike Goreng Mentega", both tastes good, but for "Swike Kuah Tauco" tastes too sweet. Services were satisfying. The place was quite big, clean, and comfortable. Overall, good place to eat "swike" with your family.

Swike Waled is still the best swike in Bandung. It has been my favorite place to buy frogs since my parents took us here for family lunch.

I love Kodok Goreng Mentega & Kodok Kuah Tauco (the best, my parent love it so much).
