Kembang Hotel — Hotel in Bandung City

Hotel is clean in overall place, that might because it still new (less a year operated) & implement no smoking rule for room & floor.||All staff are friendly and helpful, also the hotel's owner.||Moderate room size (about 18 sqm include shower room), i think it still comfortable for family with children below 5 years old. Business trip & friends are pleasant to.||Room rate is very competitive to other hotel budget and sure money value, cheap/ expensive is depend to travelers budget, purpose & reservation method.||Food & restaurant may less vary & limited option, taste just fine.||About laundry service, my review is similar to previous traveler. No price list and late, need several reminds before get the done ones. Not sure since I lost my receipt, but I believe it's quite expensive. My suggestion is to provide self-service laundry (coin operated washing & drying machine).||Sometimes become very noisy when student group coming, even on next floor above.||As Bandung has pleasant air, that would be very nice if facilitated with open cafe or lounge. This is a fairly nice hotel, modern and clean rooms with a decent Indonesian breakfast provided. However the WiFi is excruciatingly slow, and the shower is cold (at best luke warm).||||More than this however we felt ripped off. Despite repeatedly asking for the laundry price list, we didn't get given it (first we were told to look in our room, nope, then ask when the lady collects, nope...). In desperation to get some laundry done we just went ahead(more fool us). The bill was nearly 600k, more than it cost us for a night here! It cost 70k for 10 panties! OK no surprise maybe that hotel laundry isn't good value, but it was just annoying that they were not forthcoming with the prices, and moreover they just laughed when we were told them this....hmm, not a pleasant way to leave the hotel. Placed in strategic location, right around the corner of Cihampelas street. Fortunately, I was given a room which facing both sunrise and mountains view in the distance. Various gift shops, restaurants, and food stalls are just within walk range. The room is pretty neat and clean, everything is awesome until I found a trash of used shampoo sachet stacked in soap container. My family doesn't use that particular brand of shampoo.
