Famous fried chicken in Yogyakarta, we try this because our friend told us that this chicken was good. We order 2 pieces chicken breast with rice and some veggies, our friend already told us that their chicken was so big like 1 pieces breast can be eaten by 2 people. When our food come, we surprise that indeed their chicken was so big like half the chicken of Ayam Berkah in Jakarta. Eventhough the taste was not so tasteful compare to ayam berkah, but this one is quite good too and cheap with a big portion maybe because they used Pejantan not Kampung chicken so their chicken not so tastier than ayam berkah. They have sambal korek that is so good and so spicy for our taste, but this one is a plus for us, because our favourite ayam berkah doesnt has a good sambal to compliment their chicken. The chicken is marinated with spices and deep fried well, at the same time the sambal chilli enhance the chicken to another level. Super love it! Love the fried tofu and tempeh too! I’m super delighted to find the fried tofu here that reminds me a lot of stinky tofu without the stink. it’s crisp on the outside n oh so juicy on the inside, pair it with the chilli sambal and it’s perfect! we could not have enough of it and ordered a second portion.
