Simple Plant Vegan Kitchen & Artspace. — Restaurant in Bantul Regency

Right after the restaurant open, I went to this place. It is located in the tip of a delta of two rivers which makes it very unique. The place itself seems hidden compared to Pawon and Kopi Tempuran, but still discoverable if one's really find Simple Plant.

I ordered mushroom steak and iced tea with reasonable prices. The food itself is tasty and I'm curious about other food and Tempe steak. I used to made Tempe steak, that's why I want to know the taste of the steak made by this restaurant, in which at this first visit I chose mushroom steak instead because the cashier told me it's tastier than Tempe steak.

Perhaps it's better for group outing, as I found myself slightly lonely when I did not open my laptop to work in this place. Simple Plant also open start from 3 PM which makes this place a little bit late to be qualified as 'good for working' natural space. To gain that title, Simple Plan also needs to compete with Pawon Tempuran and Kopi Tempuran, which I choose two latter mentioned because those places offers bright river to be seen on the side. While Simple Plant indeed located in the unique tip, but the two rivers seem darker from this side.

Ladies might want to wear gown and crown from leaves as this place is very fun to hangout / party like in Midsommar movie but with shorter table. Also, this place offers a quiet night and catch up vibes which will be very proper if the guests bring in nice laugh together without any distraction of smartphones.

Tasty vegan food is available here. This is a place to enjoy healthy and animal cruelty free food. One of favorite - not only eating but also hanging - places in town. Been a loyal customer since they moved from previous place. Located remotely in a village, surrounded by greens; big trees, bamboos, and a small river very near to it, this place is more like a sanctuary for me. When tired of works, feel like going here is something needs to do. Also because there are cats, dogs, and a kind hearted super friendly pig that bring a good vibe. Tried almost all dishes on the list, but mushrooms and tempe steak are favorites so far. The noodles are also yummy. Especially when the weather is cold and you need something warm to eat, it comforts you nicely. Try their today’s special menu also. Sometimes it brings surprises because the menu is something different. Nasi rendang jengkol was one of it.

This is a hidden gem in the south Yogyakarta. It is located in literally remote area, where you need to drive through a semi-woods to get there. The journey there was a bit creepy either at day or night, hahaha, especially at night, some parts of the street has no lighting. Please rely heavily on google maps to get there so you won't get lost. The venue is all outdoor or semi outdoor, no indoor options and surrounded by woods. All menu are vegan and healthy! They all are yummy, some even don't taste like they were made entirely of vegan produces. Even the drinks are good. Unfortunately you have to be super patient because the cooking process takes more than 45 minutes. It looks like they only have one cook and one stove on, so they cook each dish one by one, not at the same time!
