Restoran Hongti Seafood — Restaurant in Batam City

Ordered Tom Yam Seafood Soup, gong bao chicken and sambal kangkong. Also ordered a warm luohanguo tea. We were the only table at level 2 in a Friday night at about 8pm. The dining area is well lit and aircon. The Tom yam soup is very flavourful. It had a few prawns, squid and chicken pieces in a well-balanced, sweet, sour and fragrant soup base. The chicken pieces in the gongbao chicken dish were very well seasoned and the sauce was not too spicy. The best dish was the kang kong vegetablea. They must have used quality dried shrimps and balacan with the fried garlic and shallots to make such a common dish spectacular. Finally, the drink was just nice and the luohanguo taste was not too strong. I ordered small portions for all 3 dishes. For two persons with moderate appetites, that was sufficient.

The beat part was the final bill that turned out to be 165k rupiah. Really good...

Ladyboss Super bad attitude. Very rude. Cronology : I dine in kwetiau siram after i finish , I order take away bihun goreng, they say sold out. Then i order kwetiau siram with egg. They gave me bihun mix kwetiau with egg (before that she said its sold out the bihun) I ask the employee can change to kwetiau? She said yes. Then the others employee asking, how about the egg ? I ask can u mix together inside the kwetiau siram soup? If not then dont mind. Then the employee ask the ladyboss before explain the cronology at first. The ladyboss SHOUTING and say no. I've eaten here with my family multiple times before and I assure you that the cooking is superb. Honestly I don't even understand how it tastes so good. If it's your first time eating here, I highly recommend their tomyum soup. It's full of seafood and mushrooms and the flavor is so balanced. It's kind of sour (in a good way) and slightly spicy. I was so shocked when I found out that all the cooking is made by the owner himself! About the price, I think it's quite good considering the quality of the ingredients and everything. yeah that's the end of this review thanks for reading...
