Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel restaurant over three days was quite disappointing.
Day 1 – Dinner: We placed our dinner order, but the food never arrived. When we asked the staff, the service crew incorrectly informed the supervisor that we had cancelled the order ourselves. Even when the food was re-ordered, it was still served incorrectly.
Day 2 – Lunch: Lunch took at least 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, there was a strand of hair in the food. This was both unhygienic and unacceptable.
Day 3 – Breakfast: I ordered two breakfast items at 10:10am. Only one dish arrived at 10:25am. I asked the staff to check on the missing item. At 10:50am, they came back to inform me that the kitchen had closed. This was frustrating. Even though they later told me around 11:00am that the food would be ready in 5 minutes, I had already lost my appetite.
While the hotel itself may have its merits, the restaurant’s service, communication, and hygiene standards need serious improvement. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the...
Read moreWent here 3 times in total, first time for a dinner walkedin and the staff named Jaka said its full on 15th march, so booked for 16th dinner over phone and went down personally at 5pm met Jaka again to ensure its booked to celebrate our younger daughters birthday but when we reached at 7pm our table was given to someone else and we were given an option to sit at the back of the restaurant near the walkway, asked for another table the service staff Francessa mentioned its reserved but hesitantly she allocated the table to us and disappeared, after sitting for 20mins noone turnedup to take the order and we had to hunt a staff, after ordering waited 45mins and no food, finally walked away after checking with staff the food is still not prepared. They were not apologetic or no sympathy for family with 2 kids who were an inhouse guest at the hotel. Read moreI found a long hair mixed in my avocado matcha drink. A group of us went there for lunch yesterday. Found a long hair mixed in my drink, it was gross. I told the server, she offered to redo the drink but I don’t trust the cleanliness of their kitchen anymore. The server asked me to try fresh coconut instead. They didn’t apologise and still charged the coconut. Terrible service and cleanliness.
My friend had some minor in the soup(at least not anything gross) in the nearby hotel four point by Sheraton. Four point’s servers and chef response in comparison is impeccable. Restaurant manager and the executive chef came to apologise and gifted us some souvenir and when we returned for lunch the chef offered complimentary fruit platter and waived the whole bill.
