Let me begin by highlighting the good.
Excellent service by the staff. They did go out of their way to make us comfortable. Our daughter spilled water and they were kind enough to change our tables. Could have been even better if they didnt make us wait / ask for cutleries for dishes. But cant complain, so 5 STAR Service and Awesome Ambience.
The Bad: Food was underwhelming at best. The bred was provided with oil and olive tapenade was okay. The bread was kinda dense.
We had the Crab meat starter which was decent, the Veg Sandwich was average. They put a huge sandwich without cutting it and the fries were also average at best.
The Squid ink pasta with octopus was good but very little tiny bits of octopus. I mean I had better portions in Singapore for the same price.
The Worst was Salmon! At 580k nett they gave a frozen salmon with bitter zucchini and a really bad bland sauce. The fish was underseasoned and I had to send the first portion back due to the bitterness of the zucchini.
I would NOT recommend this resto. You are better off at Tree Top or Saffron.
Total bill for Three mains one starter and one watermelon juice was 1,8 million. Way high for...
Read moreA short stroll to this lovely restaurant! I was warmly greeted & attended to by Deci! We had a good chat about Bintan & Batam too! When she heard that i needed gluten-free options, instead of the bread starter, she thoughtfully brought rice crackers! The dips were a greeting to my mouth of what to expect.
True enough i was delighted with my pan seared king prawn, spinach risotto, asparagus, with garlic butter. Flavourful!
To top it off, i could only consume a little more and the desserts were limited in options for GF diet. However, the white coffee gelato & caramel sea salt gelato were excellent finish! Any more and i would burst!!
Second time around i enjoyed the Surf & Turf, Garlic Prawn Spinach Risotto, Steak, Chilean fish (?) with a friend! Steak is done right &...

We ordered cocktails, burrata, king Alaska crab fettuccine and cod fish. I’m not impressed by the cocktail, but the pasta is pretty good. The portion is big for Asian and they have generous crab meat (real crab not those frozen ones because you can taste the shell).
Burrata came with fresh tomatoes which is amazing. I don’t normally take tomato, but this one is really good.
Down side is the price tag, a dish easily cost USD30, not forgetting the tax. But I Guess you signed up to it when you book...
