Such a disappointment! I grew up coming to this place very often. Bogor Permai is legendary. Sadly, it doesn’t seem that they care anymore about much of anything. I wonder they’re buying some cakes and bread, and one of the things I was looking for was pastel ayam. Service appeared to be nice, but the individual who helped me, She managed to drop one of the pastel on the floor, and in front of my eyes, perhaps of consciously, which scared me so much, she simply nonchalantly put it back to the tray in the glass casing. I confronted her almost immediately telling her that I saw what she did. I told her the one that she put in my back, I did not want them anymore. She offered to replace them with the ones in the tray still. While I doubt That she would even know which one you put back after it fell on the floor. I told her I do not want any of them and told her that She made me scared of the ones, other food items, that she placed on my own personal tray. She apologize to me, but never really even think about taking the one she put back out of the tray.

I reported the incident to the cashier, asking them to review the CCTV footage of the Offending employee misbehavior and total lapse of judgment when it comes to cleanliness and potential harm to their customers. The cashier told me that he would review the CCTV footage and apologize to me.

This whole incident made me think twice if I would want to ever go back there. The fact that She apologize was good But unfortunately, she violated with the cardinal rule of selling foods.

The rest of the food that I bought luckily they were all in a plastic bag already or some sort of wrapping. I ate them and honestly, the taste is just so so.. Nothing...

Pertama kali kesini, di libur lebaran hari ke2. I like anything vintage so when I found out that this bakery bern in the business since 1960s I was so excited. Waktu sampai sana, roti susu nya yang baru mateng n masi anget so I instantly take it haha. It seems like this roti susu is their best seller. Because I love cheese, I also bought roti with pisang and a chunk of cheese, and roti cheese longjohn. They have mini market , restaurant and ATM BCA as well. I bought the Oplet kopi bogor and permen made by IPB university (things I cant find in Jkt). From all the things I bought, my favorite is roti susu. Lembut dan kreamnya tidak terlalu manis. The Oplet kopi is too mild, cant smell and taste any coffee in it. The cajuput candy is literally like eating minyak kayu putih.

ps: if you buy too much bread and cant finish it within 2 days, you can store it in chiller or freezer and heat it in microwave. It could last for weeks and it still taste just as good...

Such a famous and legendary bakery in this town! They also have booths in several malls around Bogor, which makes it very convenient to enjoy their products. The service here is friendly and professional, and the place itself is always very clean and well-organized.

Aside from the delicious bread and pastries, they also sell really tasty siomay, which I highly recommend trying if you visit. There’s even a small minimarket inside, so you can pick up other items while you’re here. The siomay has a rich flavor and fresh ingredients, making it one of the highlights of my visit.

Additionally, there is an ATM available inside the store, which is very helpful. Overall, it’s a great place to shop, have a quick snack, and enjoy the warm atmosphere....
