Nasi jamblang mang dul is a traditional unique food from Cirebon. Nasi jamblang is the food with the leaves called jamblang. You can find easily by finding it on Google maps type “Nasi jamblang mang dul”. Location: It located in the city center of Cirebon, near the Grage Mall. You must take the U turn if you came from the tolls. It located near the traffic lamp and the sign was a little so you must watched for it to find this restaurant. Parking area: It just have a little parking area, that’s infront of this restaurant, maybe just enough for 4 cars. So I suggest you to park near the department store or in the empty land near it, that’s after you take u turn and before you reach this restaurant. So you must take a walk to reach this restaurant. The food taste: Nasi jamblang is the food with the leaves called jamblang, so they served you with the leaves as the plate. You can choose the so many kind of side dish like tahu, tempe, jengkol, chicken, empal, satay, etc. and you must try the chili or called sambal. I think it’s the important part, so many give me question how’s the food taste.. the answer is… you must try when you visited Cirebon. The taste was good and delicious. I really like it. The price: I think the price meet the quality of the food. It’s reasonable and worth it. The ambience: You can eat with the strangers because the restaurant was small. So you must share your table with others. I recommended this restaurant when you visited Cirebon and want to try the unique food...

Place, food, and services: The place is in the side of the main road, but before the turn in crossroads

the place is not big enough, it consists of some tables with 4 chairs each

In one place they sell not only nasi jamblang but also empal gentong and some seller who peddles the sale

they provide the washbasin in front of the store but for the toilet is not clean

the parking space is not in front of the store but they have a parking space that enough for 10 more cars with integrated park system, in front of the store only for several motorcycles

the food is affordable and worth to try

The location of this restaurant is close to Cirebon railway station. Its ground floor's entrance is open to the street. When we came, it was full of customers. We had to make a queue before choosing the dishes at a stall. The rice was served on Jati leaves, plus the condiments if you ask to. Then we could choose side dishes we like such as meat, tofu, salted fish, fried meatball, squid, etc.

Before going to the first floor, a man noted the dishes we have chosen. The first floor was much more quiet and cleaner than the ground floor. The food itself is incredibly delicious for Indonesian taste.

Overall, this restaurant is recommended if you want to find authentic food of Cirebon and don't mind if its ambiance is very far from fancy...
