I came here because I was interested to the B1G1 promotion during its opening season. I ordered tenderloin steak with medium well level with sautéed mushroom & créme spinach as the side dishes.
Because the B1G1 promotion was a big hit, the restaurant was full with customers & the line (queue) was quite long. After ½ hours of waiting, the tenderloin steak finally arrived onto my table. The meat was not perfectly cooked. Some parts were well done, some parts were medium well.
I used mushroom sauce for the steak, the viscosity was not that thick & almost tasteless. The sautéed mushroom & créme spinach were also tasteless.
I don't know why the overall taste was not satisfying. Was it due to the excessive load of customers that make a high pressure in their kitchen and decreased the quality of their steak? For the steak: think it’s meltique(?). Since i prefer my steak medium rare, of course the texture was juicy. The mushroom sauce was okay, better than the blackpepper sauce. For around 160k steak, i would say this okay. The steak was only 200gr, so i’d recommend to order other dishes to make your tummy full enough.
Overall, while the texture was commendable, the steak’s taste could benefit from some enhancements.
For the pasta: the portion was generous, though didn’t expect too much for a 50k pasta. For the taste, not for my palette; the sauce was too sweet.

The staff were knowledgeable, we were suggested to order one lower (we wanted medium well, they recommended medium) because it’s served on a hotplate. Quite impressed by the interior considering it’s located in a shophouse.
The minus point was the serving time. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes for our food. Other than that, I felt like the barbecue sauce and mushroom sauce could both be improved, somehow they tasted like the kind of instant bottled sauces (or is it?). Would love to come back to try other menu, just wishing the wait won’t be that long anymore. Maybe consider hiring more staff at peak hour?
