Had a lunch at Sushi Tei The Breeze for the first time. Usually we had Sushi Tei at PIM or when we were in Malang.
The restaurant is not so big. When I entered the restaurant, I immediately don't get any phone connection. Idk is it because of my phone provider or it's just a place that really have bad signal. When I asked about this to the workers, they all said it is indeed inside the restaurant is bad signal. So the workers said, if you want to be able to get a signal on your phone, you need to stand in the front side next to the cashier counter. Because they don't have WIFI inside the restaurant.
For the food we don't ordered much food. The food came to our table very fast. The salmon sashimi is delicious and fresh, the sushi also fast and taste good . BUT. The first that that arrived was the food not the drinks. And we needed to wait for the drinks for about maybe 10 minutes. 😵💫😵💫😵💫 In restaurants , drinks should come first then food. Not the other way around.
And for the chicken teriyaki ( Ala Carte ) we needed to wait for 30 minutes! When the food arrived, my husband was disappointed cause th portion was so small and the chicken skin was not even crispy like other sushi Tei that we went 😞 waited so long but when it's finally arrived , it's a disappointment.
Last one. When we wanted to pay with Debit card / QRIS. Also trouble because again of SIGNAL. I mean ... for a restaurant like Sushi Tei , you cannot give this kind of services to your customers. So rather again waiting only to pay our bills, we just decided to pay it with Cash.
Sorry, but we're not so happy at your restaurant. Please be more aware about the timing of your drinks and food . Also fix the connection problem at...
Read moreI just went to sushi tei for a family q time with my mother. It was around 7 in the evening and we just had a long Sunday with church and other chores. My mother and I decided to come and visit sushi tei since it's been a while since we've been there. When we arrived, there was a waiting list and luckily for us, the table for two was ready in no time. We sat on the sofa near the sushi bar and waited for a waiter. It took quite a long time for one to serve us but I understood since it was a busy Sunday evening. We ordered chicken katsu ju for me, salmon for my mother, chuka chinmi (i dont know how to spell that) for the both of us and 1 hot and cold ocha. Saying that I was disappointed would be an understatement. The ocha was neither hot nor cold, the chuka chinmi was poorly seasoned and my chicken katsu ju only had a very thin layer of rice. I've. But do not worry, I've been to this sushi tei many of times and this was just one bad experience amongst many great ones. The ambience was busy but comforting and other than my complaints the food...
Read moreWe came because there was an Instagram post on 21% discount on all food and drink items, my girlfriend gets updates on most of this area for that kind of stuff. We ordered 3 very easy rolls to make, 2 were sashimi, and it still took over 40 minutes to get them. To be fair, we did come around 630 PM, which was their rush time.
The salmon tasted off, like it had been frozen or treated with chemicals.
The service was not good either. They added rolls to our tab, and my girlfriend being polite, didn't want the server getting in trouble so we accepted them. Having got the bill, we asked about the 21% off and we're surprised it only counts if you spend 450k. Our tab was 420k,but we were disappointed enough with the experience that we just paid and left.
I the past, we've mostly enjoyed Tei and have had good experiences. Now, with other competitors like Gion and Hero, it's hard to recommend Tei to anyone. I don't think we will return...
