Pondok Jimbaran — Restaurant in City of Medan

I went to this restaurant with around 30 people from the office. It has a good Bali ambiance. The staff wear Balinesse traditional outfit, the interior is all Bali related as well. During the dinner, there was a live music from this accoustic group of midle-aged men. Singing Medan songs (or any songs by request, I think). So it's now a mix of Medan-Bali ambiance. However, it surprised me that we spent 8 million for the dinner! The price for each portion is too high in my opinion. Tempe cost 30 thousand. The drinks are around 20-30k also. Mungkin ya bagi yang blm kemari dan udah pernah makan di jimbaran bali please jangan pernah expect kalo ini bakal mirip rasanya seperti di jimbaran bali. Staffnya kurang ramah dan kurang product knowledgenya. Over price untuk rasa yang biasa aja banget. Untuk urab di bawah. Judulnya 'urab bali ' Saya selama di bali ga pernah tau ada namanya urab yang saya tau 'lawar 'nah saya tanya ke staffnya 'apakah ini lawar? Mereka pada binggung.. ok saya pikir mereka ga tau lawar dan saya berharap ini lawar.. Dan taraaa.... yang datang urab biasa dan saya ga pernah nemu in where part of bali that has urab like this. Dan harganya wooow.. 40rb untuk urab sekelas urab home made. Bahkan tetangga saya bisa buat urab begini dan dia mungkin belum pernah kebali. 🤣

Kalo masalah harga.. selama makanannya cocok sedikit mahal sih ga masalah. Tapi.. kalo untuk ini.. harga + rasa bagi saya ga worth banget..

Nah saya rasa itu aja... moga ada perbaikan.. paling tidak belajar dulu produk produk bali... atau paling ga panggil chef langsung dari bali....
