HokBen Teuku Umar — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

Visited HokBen Teuku Umar and while the taste of the food was still somewhat similar to what I remembered, it wasn't as great as before. Additionally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit lacking, with it feeling empty and somewhat sad.

While the food wasn't as good as I had hoped, it was still decent and had some familiar flavors that I recognized from past visits. However, there was definitely a noticeable decline in quality compared to previous experiences at HokBen Teuku Umar.

The biggest downside of my visit was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was quite empty and lacked the lively and bustling feel that I had experienced in the past. This made the overall experience less enjoyable and left me feeling a bit disappointed.

Despite these issues, I will say that the service was good and the staff were friendly. However, the subpar food and lackluster atmosphere make it difficult for me to recommend HokBen Teuku Umar, especially when there are likely other restaurants in the area that offer a better overall...

Great place to go if you're with kids or partner or friend or family. Fair price and good food. Worth the money.

Good selection of Japanese style food. Fresh and tasty.

Very wide parking space. If you run out of space at the front of the building, you can always use the space at the back of the building.

Always used for kids birthday party at second floor, and there is kids playground as well. It is actually just a slide and a kind of bridge for kids to jump around, but it is enough to bring a kids laugh.

The place used to be so difficult to notice from the main road as there is so little sign for this place, but right now the improved by putting some cheap signs all over their front place so people won't miss it. Very cheap signs, but they will...

The experience here was quite disappointing. Many menu items were unavailable, including beef teriyaki, ebi furai, and other fried dishes. I was told to wait 3 minutes, but the food took over 20 minutes to arrive after I had already finished eating. The fried chicken was freshly cooked, which I appreciate, but does it really need to take that long? Is the system designed to only cook new batches once everything is sold out? The waiting time is unacceptable. Please improve your system.
