Ayam Bakar Taliwang Baru — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

I came to this restaurant for a usual dinner, however I'm absolutely disappointed with the service and quality of this restaurant as a whole.

The food is mediocre at best, portions are really small for Rp. 30,000 and are really bland in flavour. Both varieties of the Taliwang chicken were equally terrible. The Ayam Bakar is basically soaked with sweet soy sauce and the Ayam Goreng had flavours that hinted of friend sausage. They've probably used the same oil for frying, very poor in standards.

The quality of the customer service was terrible, waiters seemed to be not enthused to serve customers and were not friendly. The waiters also showed no respect or initiative to perform or serve customers as they sit down on designated seats.

You're better off going somewhere else, poor in price, quality and customer service.

Not really my favorite, as just found out their food not really on my taste, it was just only grilled chicken with chili oil 🫠 the sambal beberuk which mostly my favorite, but in this place, unfortunately I can not tell myself to love it 🥲🙏🏼 Been trying to eat Ayam Taliwang in other places, and was curious with this one, with thought this should be the best one? I'm sorry but I will never come back here again. The chicken is little like a bird, only bones, so you will go out hungry like before to go inside the restaurant. One girl of the staff blamed my girlfriend because she don't understand what we order and she brings wrong food and we also have to pay for it! And no forks or knives to eat chicken or fish. And you cannot pay with your credit/debit card as foreigner because they only accept BRI/BCA so you need cash if you want to try (we are two people and she take order for 3 peoples and blame us...
