Obonk Steak & Ribs — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

We went on the afternoon. its a party of 2. Around 3 PM. The restaurant is empty. We greeted by an employee. He isvery approachable. And that's about the end of the positive side. We order 2 ice tea... 1 sweetened and the other unsweetened. 1 imported sirloin since the tenderloin is out. And 2 double chicken. The sweetened tea is way to sweet. The sirloin is way to tough even for medium rare temperature. The quality of the meat is very low. The double chiken is deep fried and they need to change the oil... We can taste the old oil in the potato wedges. The smell of the old oil ruin the taste of the meal. These are our honest review. It would be great that our feedback able to improve...

In the year 2005 or 2006, this place used to be the expensive place to get a steak. But you can get good steak here. The customers who dine here are also those of the high society. Then time goes by, I went here with my husband for dinner, and it was not satisfying. The price is now doesn't feel as expensive, average I must say, but the steaks you get are also with a low quality. The steaks are not juicy and it seemed they grilled them beforehand then they just warmed it up before serving it to customers. These double cooking process made eating steaks felt like eating rubber. So disappointing. I am not going back to this place again, if they don't fix their quality...

A place to eat not so pricy steak. The crispy beef/chicken is delicious with affordable price. If you can't decide one just order mix crispy that include 1 pc beef crispy and 1 pc chicken crispy. If you do not like crispy meat there are another menu like chicken mushroom, shrimp, sirloin, chicken cordon bleu, etc There's also some snack like chicken wings, chicken strip (this is my favorite also), french fries, float, etc. The location in teuku umar, near Markobar martabak.
