Starbucks Sudirman — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

The service by the barista at Starbucks was good. But I was very annoyed by the security guard there, who was VERY ARROGANT.

I've only been to Starbucks several times here, because I attended a health seminar on the Udayana University. This is the first time I have returned to campus after years of not being there, and I just found out there was a Starbucks across. So, in the morning before going seminar I went to Starbucks and ordered my favorite coffee, then I attended the seminar. When I returned in the afternoon to Starbucks, I found my car was not treated well by security at Starbucks. I ignored it and did not want to got problem with him. Then I sit at Starbucks and ordered coffee again for the second times that day. When I finished enjoying coffee while browsing in Starbucks, then I got out of the car. I was stopped by the security and was yelled and scolded unnaturally by him. I was really humiliated. I was scolded and rushed to pay parking for 5 thousand rupiahs per hour starting from the morning (very expensive rate compared to parking rates at the mall which is only 4 thousand per hour and a maximum of 100 thousand per day).

If there are such rules, please notify them in advance and in a good manner. Not in such an inhuman way.

Coffee was Starbucks norm. But what gives this Bucks a higher rating than other ones in Bali is the excellent customer service and their handling of social distancing.

They had a team effort going, where one person was getting our food ready while the previous person was finishing the drink portion of her order. But this is ALL Bucks, you say? Not in Bali. The fact that this was run more like the franchise is supposed to be operated, compared to the usual circuses that I've encountered, results in high praise.

No one likes social distancing, but it's a fact of life right now. In addition to the usual X markers to not sit places, they simply removed a number of tables so that the remaining ones were spread out. They also had plastic mini-walls in place on the larger tables.

The other usual caveats apply. My breakfast sandwich was heated up perfectly, not burned or hot enough to burn my mouth, and not under cooked. Sort of like the third bowl of porridge that Goldilocks ate. The drinks were mixed perfectly and the staff was friendly, polite, and...

Starbucks Sudirman is located on PB Sudirman Street, near Udayana University. This Starbucks is large enough and provides indoor and outdoor space. The ambience is so cool and i think it's really suitable for you who look for a place to work or study. You can also get some talks with your friend here. Their interior feels so warm yet classy with smooth melody in the air. They also provides baby chair for customer who bring kids.
