Dapoer Djoeang Margonda Depok — Restaurant in Depok

It's a cafe that has just been launched, and like any other cafe that had recently opened in Depok, this place is full of visitors, even on weekdays.

We came on Thursday afternoon and the atmosphere was very crowded, even though the weather was cloudy as if it would become a heavy rain. However, this didn't discourage the visitors, mostly youngsters, from hang in there and had a good a time; even if they had to sit in open air since the majority of the seats are placed outside, under the stars, up to the third floor.

The cuisine was a bit disappointing though. We ordered a fish fillet with sweet and sour sauce, and when it came, there was a huge difference between the ads and the reality.

In the picture, the bowl looks full, but when it came, the portion was very small compared to the bowl; and the fish which meant to be fillet, still had many bones in it.

But one thing we appreciate the most was the waiters who were very helpful to us. They didn't give us any complain or grumpy face although it was a very busy day, which of course made them...

The quite pricey food and beverage with medium portion is forgiven with its staggering view around Depok! Although it didn't sit on a high ground like some surrounding resto/coffeeshops it still give a nice view due to surrounding building being lower. The ambient is nice and the lighting is very "Instagramable" as well. No worries about bringing your own vehicle as the parking lot is decently sized with proper pricing as well.

Sadly, there wasn't any body temperature checking in place which is pretty sad considering the current pandemic. At least the sitting area is all outdoor so the air circulation is good. The toilet was unseparated so there's no specific male/female toilet which might bring inconvenience for some. The prayer room could be improved as well since the ablution (wudhu) area is quite far from the prayer room itself.

All in all, a nice place to hangout with decent f&b and a nice view albeit some...

Tempat yg lagi hits di depok.Datang pas hari rabu sore tapi tanggal merah jadi rame.parkiran lumayan full tapi salur sama tim security and parkingnya.Mereka bny org pny sistem yg bagus,saling komunikasi pake ht,pake seragam kece, pd bs nyetir jd kita titip kunci dan klo ada yg mau keluar butuh pindahin mobil ga akan ganggu kita makan,bs pindahin sendiri dan aman kok.Sempet slh sangka bnr apa bukan itu mas tukang parkir soalnya bajunya rapih,polo shirt celana cargo dan sepatu sneaker kyk army/polisi yg lg nonformal gtu.Walau penuh tp ttp bs duduk krn bny tmpt duduk bs dipot pohon yg disemen,ada undakan tangga model tribun&teras pinggiran rooftop.Cuma hrs hati hati takut jatuh.Sebaiknya jgn bw anak kecil krn tangganya ga ada teralis bahaya.Rooftop nya pun yg didudukin ga ada pengaman.Sistem pemesanan makanan lgs dikasir trus dikasih alat yg kita bawa klo dah ready alatnya akan bergetar&bersuara kayak bom berdetik.Tempat makannya penuh tp ga ngantri sesak krn sistem alat itu td bagus jd pd duduk jauh nyebar sambil nunggu.Rice bowl nya enak caranya pilih lauk trus bumbu.Aku pilih cumi bumbu eyang.Bumbunya asin gurih pedes,cuminya tipis tipis sekali.Trus dikasih kayak jamur crispy lumayan nemenin nasi krn cuminya dikit jd aku berasa kurang.Nasinya terlalu lembek.Untuk tmpat ngopi jg ngantri&disini berderet panjang msh pake sistem biasa ga pake alat td,cm dipanggil namanya sm si mas macam Starbucks gtu.Kopi gula aren nya enak rasanya mirip kopi kenangan.Sambil nunggu kopi jadi,makananku ready jd ambil keloket trus balik ke kedai kopi makan di dalam kedai kopi aja krn entah knp disini meja kursinya kosong,mgkn pd lbh suka yg outdoor,smp abis nasiku tp kopi blm ready.Utk ice chocolate nya rasanya B aja ga kurekomendasikan.Para karyawannya pd goodlooking rapi bersih,lucu,ramah&gercep.Selalu ngider bw plastik htm besar nanya ada sampah yg bisa diambil atau ada yg bs dirapihin mejanya.Pemandangan dr rooftopnya sangat menghibur lihat margoda saat senja/malam dari tmpt tinggi bagus juga ternyata.Beda dari restoran margonda lainnya.View keren,makanan lezat,kopi enak,good system,friendly staff,nice architecture and decorations, pleasant experience.Cocok utk anak muda nongkrong ngobrol ngopi cantik cuma peer aj klo ujan krn 90% tempatnya ga beratap.Ga sempet foto makanan krn dah...
