Sakura Japanese Food (1992) Pak Yono Margonda — Restaurant in Depok

Before I came here, I was really curious about its menu. About Japanese-style street foods, honestly, I was a bit sceptical. I have visited many food stalls specialised in Japanese menus, but they did not match my minimum expectations. How about this one?

I ordered a portion of chicken katsu (one thing which I always had when trying new Japanese places) plus steamed rice and a glass of iced tea for my drink. The size of katsu was actually very good and kind of fulfilling. The rice was also nice. However, I was not really a fan of its mayo. Its consistency should be thicker and its taste should be creamier or bolder. Additionally, to me, the soy sauce helped to elevate the taste of the katsu.

Due to the fact that the restaurant is situated at the side of ever-busy Margonda road, it was super noisy. They have a little space to accommodate a number of customers to have a dine-in experience, but I do not recommend you to bring your car if you wish to visit the place.

So, do you fancy Japanese foods? Please...

To be fair, it's alright.

Trying the new "Sakura" japanese food in Margonda, i don't know if this one's fake or not but, the "Sakura Japanese Food" i know is the one near Pesona Khayangan.

For the place, feels very japanese even though quite cramped.

But the food tho, honestly the good ones were only Karaage, even that is a menu from the other "Sakura". The curry, disappointing, too light and just meh. The teriyaki, too sweet.

Even though not giving that much positive vibes, i still want to try the wafuyaki and other menus, so might be coming here...

pengalaman buruk banget. hari ini ke sakura cabang 2 untuk pertama kali. biasanya makan yg sebrang hokben

pas kita lagi milih ada 1org nanya ke kita gimana alurnya? aku jelasin buat dia suruh minta nota dan menu. EH MALAH DIKASIH DUDUK. makan selesai.

aku kasih nota dan masuk waiting list adalagi grombolan duduk di twmpat waiting list. MAKANANNYA SAMPAI DULUAN aku? MASIH NUNGGU AJA UDH DIEM GAK DITANYA

akhirnya ada yg keluar, Adayg masuk padahal mereka cuma nunggu sambil diri tautau masuk DAN DIPERSILAHKAN AJA DEPAN MATA SAYA DAN FRONT LINER NYA. akhirnya aku samperin ini gimana antriannya?

akhirnya ada lagi yg keluar dan saya duduk.

TAPI MAKANAN YANG DATENG MEREKA DULUAN. PADAHAL YG NGASIH NOTA SAYA DULUAN.

sampe akhirnya org terakhir yg nyelak udah kelar makan, Tapi pesenan ayam kari saya gak sampe sampe!! masa harus saya tanya dulu baru dianterin?? apakalian gak ada sistem ceklis mana yg udh dianter mana yg belom??

harus di brifing lagi sih. saya harus antri untuk makan, saya terima. tapi kalo ada yg nyelak didiemim, sistem waiting liat gak jelas, ada customer diem aja didiemin, alur pemesanan gak jelas, emosi sih.

kalo ada cctv, boleh dicek sih kita yg dateng jam setengah 8an itu diselak berapa orang tapi gak ditegor juga. udah lah laper mau makan dibikin kesel karna antrian gak jelas🙏

nilai plus nya, makanannyaenak cuma nasi ayam kari yg lama diantar gak terlalu panas, padahal ya lumayan enak untuk refil ocha mas mas nya gercep kalo diminta tolong, makasih banyakk
