FISHSTREAT DEPOK — Restaurant in Depok

Fish Streat is a new chain of seafood restaurant that serves seafood platter and Fish & Chips. If you feel familiar with it, because this restaurant is close to a known Fish & Chips chain from Singapore called Fish & Co, the differences is that Fish Streat is catering low to mid customer because they are relatively affordable.

This Depok branch of Fish Streat is the first in the area and located in strategic Juanda street that links Bogor Raya road and Margonda Street. Their place is relatively small and from outside they don't look very tidy. Last year this branch suffers a setback when there was a fire in the building, they rebuild the branch and it was re-opened late 2017. There are quite spacious parking space outside and there are parking attendance to help you.

Inside you will find small but spacious area, it was filled with tables and chair that are not very comfortable for extended stay. They offers highchair for young children but the place is not really family restaurant. The waiter is just average, but if you visit during busy times, you might find the service lacking. The place should be accessible for disabled customers and the toilet is small but clean.

For the food, it is very cheap and had a large portion, their cheese sauce is actually not bad for this price range, for the seafood they are average and sometimes you might get less fresh seafood. The drinks are average as well.

Overall this place is good for those with cash strapped budget and yet want to feel western seafood. The place might not be suitable for extended stays and it can be really crowded in...

Just got a chance to visit this newly restaurant. I bet everyone know about the resto's name because it goes boom in everyone's path😂.

The access to get there is quite reachable. But there's no public transport such angkot. You can use angkot and turn left from intersection near Margo City to Jl. Ir. H. Juanda by foot (only take 8-10 mins).

The really serve best! The service is good, i complained about the ac and then they reacted so fast. But i dont know why the floor is slippery, too oily so you must be careful.

The foods are really tasty! Good! I recommended this, you only take 30-40 thousand Rupiah to taste this deli fish and spaghetti. I and my friends ordered fish&chips, fista cheesy melt (i forget the name), and fista marinara. The fish is so crunchy and about the marinara, it tasted like bolognaise but spicier. But it will be better if they serve more menu such as appetizer...

ordered bunch of menus with my friend, some food came so late which took around 30 minutes. it wasn’t hot, nor warm, it was cold. why would i eat dine in if it’s cold? did the food even got heated?

the platter was awful, the shrimp was overcooked till it isn’t edible, fish wasn’t fresh, and fries was soggy. on the fish and chips, instead of serving with lemon they served with lime instead which is questionable, it isn’t proper. the only good one was the creamy pasta, but even so the bits of fish given was so little and small. drink options are limited, not much.

the service was ok, maybe the staff isn’t friendly enough to smile. the price is 40-60k/person. place ambience was mid, there was a play area which is useful for kids but that’s it. the restaurant seems outdated.

some notes for the owner/ manager, a reset for the restaurant (place, food, server) would be nice to attract...
