Weeks ago I had dinner at Los Ciken with a friend. We ordered the Chicken Nanban and the OG Buttermilk Chicken. The portions were generous and very filling. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, exactly what you'd hope for from a place like this. The Chicken Nanban came with a generous amount of nanban sauce and crispy kailan. The rice was cooked perfectly, complementing the dish well.
My friend had the OG Buttermilk Chicken, which also turned out to be tasty and savory. The extra sauce (or gravy?) and crispy kailan were a nice addition.
I also returned recently and tried the Nashville Hot Chicken. The portion was generous and included an over-easy egg. However, the egg seemed like it had been pre-cooked and stored, so it didn’t taste as fresh as expected. Despite that, the chicken was crispy, dipped in Nashville hot sauce, which was spicy but very enjoyable.
The prices are reasonable, making Los Ciken a great option for students or anyone on a budget. The place itself is spacious with an open layout, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. The service was good and quick. While the location is a bit tucked away from the main road, there is ample parking space available, making it...

The food is ok. Not outrageously priced and is similar to other chicken restaurants. While the dish as a whole is pretty good, I felt like the chicken was a bit dry. Not saying it was a bad dish, just saying it wasn’t as juicy as expected.
The service is alright. They go my order correct and was fast.
The atmosphere was interesting in both good and bad ways. They had a nice outdoor aesthetic where most of the dining space is, but the outdoor area has minimal fans for air circulation.
Meanwhile the indoors space where I was seated, the table was attached to the wall and was shaking for some reason..? It wasn’t too bothering but it was definitely interesting. Oh and the indoors seating while colder than outdoor because of AC, it isn’t the most comfortable temperature.
In the end it’s honestly a decent place to hang out or even do work. Wifi is decently fast and drinks are plentiful. Would recommend but try not to come here...
Read moreDisgusting service, with the entire place in an unsanitary and foul-smelling condition. The kitchen is located directly in front of the restroom, and I witnessed a stack of kailan vegetables being used as a seat by a waiter who was smoking on top of it. Leftover food littered the floor. Frankly, I don’t believe a business like this should be granted a license to operate. If we’re expected to support small enterprises, is it reasonable to classify this kind of establishment as one—let alone provide it with tax breaks—when it fails to uphold even the most basic standards of hygiene and taxation? With the volume of customers they serve, can they still be labeled a micro, small, or medium enterprise? One has to seriously question whether the staff receive proper wages or social security benefits. The restaurant intentionally manipulate the google rating just by giving away ice cream, very...
