*Note: I have been here only once. Take the review with a grain of salt.
A great ramen shop. There are a bunch of ramen options you can choose. I chose the Thai Curry Ramen, alongside Tamago Sushi (Egg Sushi) and Ocha.
THE TASTE The ramen was really great. The sushi wasn't anything special, and the ocha was just an ocha. Overall 8.2/10, mostly carried by the ramen.
THE PRICE The price is actually great. If I remember correctly, the ramen I got was 22k, the sushi is 12,5k for 8 sushis (~1,5k/sushi), but for the drink, the ocha was 5k. Considering the portion, the price of the meal was justified. The drink, not so much. Practically 5k for tea is rather expensive. Keep in mind there is a ramen that only cost 10k, if you want to save money, you can get that one. Overall 9.3/10, let down a little bit by the drink price.
THE AMBIENCE There are a lot of anime posters and what not. If you like animes, you probably will like the ambience. But the store is usually packed with a lot of people, so keep that in mind. Overall 8/10.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was craving for ramen and gave this restaurant a try. Kinda expecting a lot since the review is 5 stars and all good responses mainly as far as I scrolled the google review. With the big expectations, I came and kinda disappointed. The broth could be better, I would say the ramen tasted like a local mie ayam - not a genuine ramen. They also asked for the spicy level of my ramen (typical Indonesian food always comes with spicy level) and quite surprise to get sambal on top of my ramen. I ordered chicken katsu ramen. The good thing is they put the katsu and ramen in different plates - keeps the katsu crunchy. But, the katsu is not the best taste, and the coating can be better, especially the breadcrumbs. Back to the ramen, the noodle reminded me to mie ayam too. But at least I got half size boiled egg, some mushrooms, and nori. The price is relatively cheap, but calling this ramen is a bit misleading. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The restaurant is a bit hot inside (fans on and aircon on but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited Sugoi Ramen for the first time a few weeks ago upon a friend's recommendation. Iām not usually a fan of ramen, but I decided to give it a try, and it didnāt disappoint.
We ordered the original chicken ramen and the best-seller chicken ramen, as recommended by the restaurant, along with a side dish of gyoza. The ramen was delicious, with a light and flavorful chicken broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a nice chewiness. The portions were on the smaller side, but considering the variety of side dishes available, it worked out well. The gyoza, however, was a bit too greasy for my taste, and the skin was chewy instead of crispy.
The prices are quite affordable, especially for students, making it a good value for money. While Iāve had better ramen, for the price, itās definitely reasonable.
The place was busy during lunch, with people constantly coming and going, but there was always seating available. Overall, a good spot for a quick and...
